Was this supposed to have a second stage? Im very impressed though on how the strap-on boosters fell away with a continuation of the center sustainer. Not an easy thing to achieve from my experience.
In 1879 there was a woman named Jillian who was walking down a creek one day and little did she know, there was a homicidle maniac following her. When she heard a noise behind her,the man grabbed her and knocked her out. When she woke she was in up in a dark factory and the man was there. After a few moments, she was raped and then the man slit her throat. Now that you have read this, every night, she will be standing outside your door looking in ure window post dis on 7 different videos to stop her
I made one from a heavy cardboard tube from inside of some carpet with 6 e engines and no chute,it stuck in ground two feet when it crashed , this one was nice with the 4 seperate chutes
THE most impressive model rocket I've seen, multiple motors firing at the same time, and it looks like you have guidance; gyroscopes? very impressed, do you have any more pics/docs on it?
Great video. I thought there was a limit in Texas? When I was messing with model rockets, I was under the impression that if it was over a certain size you had to report it for military observation. If you didn't, you stood a chance of tripping the missile defense system. Was I totally misinformed?
this was a national launch that travels from state to state every year is different. They had waviers from the FAA to 60,000ft the limit of FAA , after which nasa has to approve. only one rocket has gotten that approval in 2004, to 77 miles.
these launch are designed around family fun. my dad and brother can from nebraska and oklahoma to see this rocket fly, my son and dau also fly rockets.
Great work, I admire the effort, patience and time invested in this kind of work. I would very much like to work on the big stuff one day, but in this country, I am restricted to 300 feet.
Just 300' damn, cant do much w/ that. I recently posted a vid of my NAR Cert. Level 1 flight to 3,000ft Im looking foreward to launching it again this April/May. I'm working on (much) bigger stuff at the moment but probbly wont be ready. Good luck with your highpower endevors, God Bless!
You think this is fun, wait until you see my next rocket 30ft tall 4ft diameter with a Q motor for Balls 2008 in black rock desert. 1/10th scale aries one the new nasa replacement for the shuttle. who says only nasa has to have all the fun. Just saw astronut farmer and loved it. The nebraska launches from a farm. called "Fire on the Farm" regional launch in April 2007.
Wow, a delta III flight that actually went right!
