  • Wow, a delta III flight that actually went right!

  • Add more fuel so it will fly longer and attach a mini stalite and launch em'

  • what did u use for fuel? Liquid hydrogen/oxygen or some simple things?

  • what did u use for fuel?

  • That aint a model. That is a real freaking rocket!

  • lol 6 chutes total

  • Was this supposed to have a second stage? Im very impressed though on how the strap-on boosters fell away with a continuation of the center sustainer. Not an easy thing to achieve from my experience.

  • nicely done

  • so nice i also have a raket but its very small with parachute it works fine but your racket is just fucking awsome dude!!!

  • yeahh baby!!

  • Very impressive. Looks like a fun day!

  • Awesome!!!!

  • wow, what altitude did it reach?

  • It was a central Amarillo Blue P motor surround by 9 Amarillo Blue L motors.

  • Awesome launch! Nice slow takeoff and perfect ejection.

  • Vary nice

  • geez look at all the chutes nice launch

  • I made one from a heavy cardboard tube from inside of some carpet with 6 e engines and no chute,it stuck in ground two feet when it crashed , this one was nice with the 4 seperate chutes

  • i am more than impressed....that was simply awesome !!!!! great job !!!!!!!!!!!

  • It did look big, but at first you need to look at the white truck parked next to it. Very cool.

  • Who's rocket is that?? We are starting a Delta 4 heavy project, anf I'd like to talk a little and ask some questions.

By the way very nice, Aerotech blue thunder?

my guess M24000 or M3500, and K1100 boosters?

  • buy that is legal? hahaha

man that rlz, so amazing, but it don't climb a lot right? maybe it need more power

  • THE most impressive model rocket I've seen, multiple motors firing at the same time, and it looks like you have guidance; gyroscopes? very impressed, do you have any more pics/docs on it?

  • Very nice launch and land!Good video!

  • damn, that was fast.

  • Great video. I thought there was a limit in Texas? When I was messing with model rockets, I was under the impression that if it was over a certain size you had to report it for military observation. If you didn't, you stood a chance of tripping the missile defense system. Was I totally misinformed?

  • this was a national launch that travels from state to state every year is different. They had waviers from the FAA to 60,000ft the limit of FAA , after which nasa has to approve. only one rocket has gotten that approval in 2004, to 77 miles.

  • thats just whole lot o' family fun!!

  • these launch are designed around family fun. my dad and brother can from nebraska and oklahoma to see this rocket fly, my son and dau also fly rockets.

  • you sure they didnt see it from nebraska and oklahoma????

  • Great work, I admire the effort, patience and time invested in this kind of work. I would very much like to work on the big stuff one day, but in this country, I am restricted to 300 feet.

  • Just 300' damn, cant do much w/ that. I recently posted a vid of my NAR Cert. Level 1 flight to 3,000ft Im looking foreward to launching it again this April/May. I'm working on (much) bigger stuff at the moment but probbly wont be ready. Good luck with your highpower endevors, God Bless!

  • You think this is fun, wait until you see my next rocket 30ft tall 4ft diameter with a Q motor for Balls 2008 in black rock desert. 1/10th scale aries one the new nasa replacement for the shuttle. who says only nasa has to have all the fun. Just saw astronut farmer and loved it. The nebraska launches from a farm. called "Fire on the Farm" regional launch in April 2007.
