He used applied kinesiology to prescribe this. If you don't know what that is, it seems like pseudoscience, although everything he gave me at the end of the day was legit, in my opinion. But seriously, I'm never stressed, always relaxed, I eat almost a Paleo/Mediterrasian diet rich in fruits and vegetables and nuts, and I work out with weights and run. I feel so relaxed sometimes I feel like I could be on drugs. Why would he think I have adrenal fatigue?
Is stress the same thing as adrenal fatigue? I just finished up grad school in May and have been living at home for a few months. I always get 8-11 hours of sleep each night, and am never stressed. Honestly, I don't think I've ever been stressed too much in my life. But I have a low thyroid and was just put on desiccated thyroid hormone. But my doctor told me to take an adrenal support supplement for two weeks before starting thyroid hormone. He did something called applied kinesiology.
@DerekChaunessey What i do know is that overwhelming and unresolved stress leads to adrenal fatigue/exhaustion. I use to think i had no stress in my life. College is stressful, exams, final exams, anticipation of graduating. Stress is not the same thing as adrenal fatigue. Understand that stress can come in many ways, emotionally, physically, mentally, chemically (which is physical). Even what you eat can put stress on your body.
i am a 10 to 6 sleeper, healthy athlete with a great diet but have dark rings under my eyes that have been linked to iron, adrenals or kidneys. dont eat/exercise after 6, have a relaxed lifestyle so no stress...do you have expereince with this? if so do you think i need a kidney cleanse or something of that nature? going to try remove my laptop from my room and sleep with the door open to better ventilate....good vid man thanks, vital info
Liver/detoxification issue potentially. Get a lab done for Urinary Bile Acid Sufates (UBAS). If your UBAS is elevated, your liver is clogged. If you're liver is clogged, what is causing it? That's what you need to find out. My 2cents.
i concur & i wouldn't wait for the tests. i clean my organs regularly, a good fast with herbs does it best, Dr. Schultze has a good program.
also, are you a vegan or raw? i see adrenal burn/dark circles with this group of people often. veggies usually DO NOT want to look at that component of their health because of some "spiritual" dogma attached to their diet. Paul Chek has a great article on this, i like to paste it on David Wolfes Facebook page and get the raw peeps panties twisted ;-]
cheers for this man and yeah i am mostly raw but not gospel, i eat meat when offered but dont buy it myself....i ll chek out pauls article on this, do you know which of his websites its on? thanks
thanks. however its a very condescending and somewhat patronising view on not eating meat. It is also the reason why i dont categorize myself, as i dont fit into his first 3 'reasons'. please dont think that all none meat eaters are flimsy, dogmatic tree huggers. it is like me saying you guys are all gym rat, meat heads creatin reasons to keep eating meat. i just say, show me gut that enjoys digesting meat and maybe i ll buy some organic chicken again. check out the 'The China Study'
what about red meat? thats where i feel the adrenal burn coming from...intuitively. as an athlete i would want my bases covered. i was anemic as a vegan and i ignored it until one day i gave into my cravings only to feel Dynamite again!
yeah man i did 1 liver cleanse and it helped alot with the bowls but kidney/eyes did nt seem to change much. I added beets on a regular basis and bile seems to be moving better through the system...thanks for advice tho, i ll do another cleanse and i ll keep an eye out for the UBAS check, cheers
I've totally noticed a difference in my sleep patterns since I've started working out and throwing out processed foods from my diet. I couldn't force myself to wake up if I wanted to, and now I wake up early and can't fall back asleep! LOL, must be beating myself up every day in the form of the work out.
Is there a lot of deviation between 10-2 and 11-3?

Great video! You've inspired me to do a 10pm-6am experiment for a few weeks and see how I feel.
I'm going to move the alarm clock right now.
Thanks again.

Is there any scientific proof to these cycles? 10-2 pm physical repair, 2-6 mentally?
I'd be glad to have some verification
