eicar does not do virus it's just a test to make sure your anti virus is working

I attempted to download the file to make sure the web shield is working, avast! blocked it. And mattyu21, Norton is nagware and a system hog.

Norton used to be a hog but the 2009 versions are the quickest on the market now and use very little resources and have no nag screens.

I have tried this, but only is detected instantly when I use Internet Explorer.

In Firefox it just downloads, I have to manually scan my download folder for detection.
