@superstarfromhell, I just want to respond because Chows are my favorite dog breed: There is only one type of Chow Chow. Even if they vary greatly in size, there are no "standards" or "miniatures." There are several colors: black, red, buff & blue; and there are long-haired and short-haired. Best dogs in the world, but you have to resign yourself to Chow Chow autonomy, but that's part of their charm.

@diamondsontherock yeah well what if u want a puppy? most shelters i no of dont have puppies cuz these types of dog breed have aggression in them & u have to train as early as possible

@TakerBride777 in california theres adoption places that has puppies..but can' find a chow yet...and I only want a puppy so we can get use to each other from their early age and like u said if they have aggression problems i want to knw how to react to it when there little so i know wat to do. I don't even see them selling at pet stores either...I've never trained or owned a dog..so i am guessing chow is not a first pet choice?
