  • beautiful....gave me goosebumps! Or Moosebumps rather :)

  • My thanks to luckystrike76HD for correcting me and my humble apologies for getting it wrong. The pilot is indeed Stuart Goldspink - the commentator even says so! Description now corrected.

  • The pilot of this display was not cliff spink, but stuart goldspink!!!!

  • @luckystrike76HD

Many thanks for pointing this out and my humble apologies for the error which I have corrected.

  • This video gave me chills, a few tears & had me sitting up straighter with pride. My dear dad was a Fitter Armourer for Squadron 222. until '45. Seeing this beautiful piece of history made me wonder if my dad had stood on her wings, preparing her for whatever lay ahead ? His name is Arthur Murphy, he passed in '97. Though he and the rest endured some horrific moments, he was always proud of these gorgeous enduring planes.

    Thank-you for this video.

  • @TracyM132@TracyM132 Many thanks. I'm pleased that this brought back memories, some good, for you. I'll be adding more from this event soon, including one of this Spitfire flying in formation with a Mustang. I hope that you enjoy them as much as this. A tribute to the brave people they represent past and present, especially the RAF/Allied pilots and ground crews of WW2, like your father, who served and survived, or sacrificed themselves for our freedom;as well as those who keep them flying now.

  • What a great sounding plane
