I was born in China...and from what I know personally, most Chinese youth today are much more fascinated by South Korea's culture and people than the closed North's. Many in even the government are beginning to support Korean reunification with Seoul in power. I truly have no love for the North, and I wish that its leaders would just fall from power sooner or later...

If North Korea had never felt threatened by the west and by the south, it would never had wasted all those resources in it's military and it would have had enough resources to feed and take care of it's own people. If North Korea was allowed free trade around the world instead of the current blockade, it could improve it's condition. Give North Korea incentives, stop making threats.

It never ceases to amaze me how the west destabilizes and then demonizes small countries. North Korea is an impoverished country and the blockade and western rhetoric is prompting NK to put all of it's limited resources into it's military, making the financial situation in that country even worse. US intervention in that region is the biggest threat. Had it not been for US intervention, there would be no working camps in North Korea.

I just read Korean history that Kim Il Sung was actually the patriotic Korean and guerilla leader fighting the Japanese occupation army, who dreamed of unification after his country was occupied by Japan for a long time. At the time after WW2 when the Japanese lost the war, USSR & US agreed to divide up Korea between north & south. SOuth Korea govt at the time was run by former collborators of Japanese who were hated by local Koreans because they persecuted many of them

All it would take to disarm the situation is solid security garantees to the North that there will be no invasion nor regime change nor any military attempt. The ongoing joint military exercises between the US and the South is extremely terrifying for the North. It's not a good idea.
Also, you must allow the North to resume full international trade and commerce so that it can improve it's financial situation and standars of living and you must allow the North to develop it's nuclear industry so that it can power it's industry and agriculture. Energy is the number one problem in North Korea, food is the second and they lack food because they lack energy.

I was born in China...and from what I know personally, most Chinese youth today are much more fascinated by South Korea's culture and people than the closed North's. Many in even the government are beginning to support Korean reunification with Seoul in power. I truly have no love for the North, and I wish that its leaders would just fall from power sooner or later...

It never ceases to amaze me how the west destabilizes and then demonizes small countries. North Korea is an impoverished country and the blockade and western rhetoric is prompting NK to put all of it's limited resources into it's military, making the financial situation in that country even worse. US intervention in that region is the biggest threat. Had it not been for US intervention, there would be no working camps in North Korea.

I just read Korean history that Kim Il Sung was actually the patriotic Korean and guerilla leader fighting the Japanese occupation army, who dreamed of unification after his country was occupied by Japan for a long time. At the time after WW2 when the Japanese lost the war, USSR & US agreed to divide up Korea between north & south. SOuth Korea govt at the time was run by former collborators of Japanese who were hated by local Koreans because they persecuted many of them

North Korea is absolutely affraid of an invasion and regime change. All it would take to disarm the situation is solid security garantees to the North that there will be no invasion nor regime change nor any military attempt. The ongoing joint military exercises between the US and the South is extremely terrifying for the North. It's not a good idea.

Also, you must allow the North to resume full international trade and commerce so that it can improve it's financial situation and standars of living and you must allow the North to develop it's nuclear industry so that it can power it's industry and agriculture. Energy is the number one problem in North Korea, food is the second and they lack food because they lack energy.
All the North needs are security guarantees, freedom of trade, energy and food.

Also killing Jong wouldn't solve anything because his son would just take over. Our Military is damn fine men but I doubt they'd be able to even get into NK without alerting NK.
If NK bombed us then they royally fucked up. They might have a few nukes, but we having thousands and it's our policy to use them all if one's used on us.

You think the US has a bad healthcare system.......try going to the UK. I went to the hospital for a broken hand in the UK and they barely gave me a cast and the hospital was filthy. So the US I feel is much better.
