The mino looks better than the minohd because since both videos are playing at the same time, the hd cannot go up to full 720p. Since the hd is actually not showing in hd, the non hd one looks better.

and this video is 640x480 thats why the quality is decreased on the hd and the mino records 640x480 the exact resolution of this video

I've seen great results of the mino hd. Here it looks darker compared to mino.

Another thing I've heard, if you want to watch on TV using the composite cable it will look bad.

actually guys the flip is in standard def and the flip hd is in hd so it will look alot better if it was in hd size so if it was 1080x720 it will look alot better

Everyone is so stupid.. They all want HD and for a point and shoot they pay all that extra cash for it and then they 95% of the time upload it to the web or email were HD make "NO" difference... Well you cant tell but the HD Mino is really good but its cut in half in my video and was sent threw different applications so it lost some definition. But now that youtube is going widescreen i would really recommend going with the new Flip Mino HD

the original mino looks way better. now that youtube is widescreen, i think the only plus side to the HD is that it fills the whole video player. but the contrast and sharpness is way better on the original mino. i'm sticking to that one.
