I loved killzone 2 to death, 3 improved everything , I cannot wait to finally get 3 tomorrow, this is the first ps3 game im going to be downloading DLC for, best FPS ever I have no idea why the hell killzone isn't the ps3's biggest franchise , sony needs to market killzone waaaaaaay more, if there was killzone mountain dew ( or something like that) It would be the only thing I would drink for a month

KZ3 is a lot harder than 2 in my opinion. It takes more shots to kill the Helghast, less to kill you, and Rico only heals you 1/5 times. Still a great game though.

This game is freaking awesome! In the campaign I'm right where you first get the jetpack and the campaign so far is freaking great, everything is amazing, I was especially impressed maybe more surprised with the first stealth part of the campaign because how good it is. It's definetly the best FPS game this gen. I highly recommend it.

I'm still waiting for a Helghast Campaign. I already believed they did it in this game as you walk into the Helghast Weapon Research Facility but then *bang* we're back at ISA. If you get into the story behind Killzone you'll find out that the Helghast are not the evil but the ISA are. Maybe Killzone 4 will finally bring a Helghast Campaign.

@The0neEvil yeah yeah thats true but ISA soldiers don't go around murdering civilians and stuff though they did that when they invaded vekta in the first one yeah it was their planet oce then vekta was colonised and yes a helghast campaign would be pretty good but they would have to make it make sense somehow

@911911ification The reason why the Helghast killed every human on sight was probably because of their will for vengeance. If they remember their families died to the humans who raided Vekta, I guess it's understandable why they committed these attrocities. What the ISA did or would have done to Helghan civilians is't shown in the Killzone series. Next Killzone could have a Helghast Campaign and let the player assault Vekta once more. Or defend Helghan against the ISA.

@The0neEvil yeah right they should have a helghast campaign set on vekta insead of defending it you attack it they should make it like the cutscence for the first one where you jump off the drop ships shooting all the civilians and also get to butcher and execute captured ISA troops that would be cool they should do that for every part of the story you get to attack vekta first then fight the helghast invasion later

This game has such a different feeling to CoD. When your walking around it feels more rugged and the gunfire is more satisfying in terms of noise and of course animation. The gun at 1:08 is what im specifically referring to. I used it in the demo and my god, it basically convinced me to buy the game!

I can't shake the feeling that whenever I play a killzone game I feel like I'm playing a tech demo of the potential of shooter graphics for a platform.. & thats It.. kinda like merely showcase to max the platform graphics chugging slow speed... Kinda like Halo 1 CE, when It came out xbox launch 2001, but at least that had a fresh pc-to-console revolutionary feel & It worked (once 2 & 3=crap the novelty was long gone after 2001). FPS still need to top single player of HL2 & the multi of COD4

@olibigbird But from a technical standpoint, it stands strong among the heavyweights of the genre. And maybe I just don't care as long as the game is fun, but the campaign is really fun. Warzone is the way to go in multiplayer 'cause the rules always change. You don't have to get out of the game to adjust the game modes. I think that's its unique feature.
