There should've been less Alan, more brothers, more rescues, and less angst. It would've been EPIC had they kept it focused more on the family in general and loaded it with rescues. It was cute and all, but not the Thunderbirds I love.

@runawayfreak thats because they were CGI models in the movie, and everything looks plastic in CGI, look at new Star Trek episodes. Also, I agree, the plotline was horrible, and the Tracy boys, were little more than extras. And, Thunderbird 5 was not destroyed, just badly damaged. And it was very promising. The opening was great, with the rescue and stuff, but The Hood ruined it. Completely.
@runawayfreak Erm... Thunderbird 5 wasn't destroyed. It only had a chunk blown out of it, which could've been repaired in time. I've seen this movie and I can say it's alright, except for the fact that it has too much of a kid's tone to it. Not even Gerry Anderson's version went that far.
I think was a flop, because I remember before the film game out all the news were on about, soon had been on it's first day no more was heard. I was dissapointed.
the film is set in 2020 but in the TV series is set in 2026
