@ctrcodeman You do know the newer animated show was closer in tone to the original comic that it all sprang from right? The angry Raph didn't come from the original movie, it came from the comic. Splinter always being a rat that was owned by Hamato Yoshi was also the comic.

As much as I do enjoy the original show, I'll take the new one over it, as it treats Raphael a lot better then the original show did by bringing him back to his roots as the bad ass brawler of the team.

I'm going to have to disagree with you the shredder in the 2003 was far more evil than the 80s shredder and I thought that the idea of him being an alien in disguise was scary. Just the thought of an alien warlord wanting to take over the world in the guise of a long deceased villain was just creepy.
