Great video! 17 birthday will be spent at the blood bank ( jan 9! Still git a few months, but i can not wait!) Going to be asking all my questions like how old do you have to be to become a bone marrow donor ect. I would more more than happy to donate what's inside if me to help save others. And if I ever get that phone call saying I'm a match I would probably cry( of joy of cource ) because that means because of me, someone has a second chance at life. I find it pretty extraordinary actually.

I am 16 years old and a football (soccer) coach for my home town team. One of my players was diagnosed with leukimi (I'm sorry if I wrote that wrong) and he is only 11 years old. I mean, that really bummed me out. Now he is healthy and survived the cancer. He is now back on my team and going strong. Every time I see him smile, I think of how lucky I really am for beeing healthy, and how happy he can be after surviving something like that.. :)

I tried twice to become a blood donor, but always fainted after 1/5 of desired amount. I'm too pussy to become a donor of bone marrow too, didn't even try though.

But I've just read that the cost of sample analysis, the one performed while putting someone into a registry, is almost $100 each. Money is as much necessary as donors. Remeber about it, folks!

Even if you have neither courage nor money, become a volunteer and help those organizations donating your spare time.
