I will get this book, I too have suffered, and gone thru all the pain and wreakage of trying to stuff the painful emotion of incest. I am 4 years clean and sober and though clarity has been a blessing, it has also open up doors of memories I would rather forget.

I met Phillips on a shoot for ABC in 2003, and she was one of the nicest people I've ever come across. Smart, funny, great personality. There's been a lot of pain in her life, but she seems determined to live and enjoy her life. She made that shooting day a lot of fun--just a really cool and fun girl.
i read it, what a super book, just when you see what she has gone through, being a famous star and full blown junkie, i was amazed that near the end of the book seems like she has it altogether and then she dives back in and every time they relapse it just goes deeper and more depressing, but she finally pulled through, i hope she stays clean, i also loved one day at a time, my sister loved it to,
I agree with some that the entire story is a fabrication. Really what proof is there? A junkies word? He's not here to defend himself and how embarrassing for her husband and kids. I am surprised that his other children didn't put a stop to this book being published. Buying and promoting this book just enabled a junkie! Way too be gullible.
The Phillips sisters look a lot a like. Mackenzie looks a lot like Bijou when she was younger and Bijou looks a lot more like Chynna especially with the blonde hair.
