If you were charged at that range you would not have time to pull your side arm out to get a clean shot at its head, plus they have the thickest skulls, you wanna make sure you hit it good and clean dead centre, i have seen people hit em with a shotgun and the roll along the ground get up and keep running.
pigs are very smart rated forth in the world ,,goes man,primates,dolphins,pigs, parot,dogs are rated 6th in the world the only time the get nasty 99percent of the time is when you got a dogs on them ,ive almost stood on large boars bedded down in heavy rain an the run for it ..i think they are also the fastest animal from 0-50 feet as a burst
