Thanks. West Germany was too quick to kill off all stuff manufactured in East Germany. So much brilliant expertise was lost because of this. All that Pre-World War 2 craftsmanship flushed down the toilet. The communists were not all bad. They made stuff for need not greed and corporate profit.
I bough a brand new Wartburg "Knight" in 1966 in the UK and had it for 7 years. It was a beautiful car and was very well made. Germany can be proud Wartburg
@mrjimhoward Even my family had a car sale by specific brand Wartburg. Machine hell except for the consumption took it and brought it all. I remember him.
