I really want ron paul and wont vote for anyone other but I think Americans are greedy and its all me me me so they put people in who give them free money via tax cuts or welfare . What is the best confiscation there is? The one which can be repeated and hidden. 401K been confiscated at least twice already. The DOT com bust an the 2008 HOUSING bust. Both destroyed countless 401k's. And of course this will happen again and again. Confiscation.

The crazy part is the fact that President X can declare anything valid under the War Powers Act and CONgress can do nothing about it. The President can also declare Executive Order. It doesn't matter who you vote for. Even Ron Paul, who IMO has very little chance of winning would not be able to change the system to prevent it from imploding. What still amazes me about Lieberman was that he got voted out of office and was subsequently "reinstalled" via the independent route. Nobody believes me concerning the IRA/401K confiscation that's upcoming but as a gov't employee I see it already with TurboTax Timmy dipping into federal employee pensions to help fund day-to-day gov't operations.
