  • That is one awesome car for sure

  • It's one my favorite Mustang ever built. If only I won the lottery. I would buy one on the auction block.

  • You just have to love a Grabber Blue Ford

  • Is it for sale?

  • Do you still have it? Original numbers matching car?

  • Well the boss 429 is my favorite car, this car you have is a beautiful machine, my dad was born in 1950 he bought his 1970 boss 429 brand new for $4700 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, a weird thing that sometimes happen is people from around north america get a hold of him seeing if he will sell it, these people go through the ford records and see who own these cars, these people must do some major research to find him his phone number and address are a lot different from 1970! thanks for reading.

  • I own a 1969 S-Code Mach 1

    All manual

All drum (plan to have front disc)

    4-speed Top Loader

    very straight Texas car

  • fucking awesome!!!

  • same color one in a auto mag....for sale cheap......some crusty car lot in Kentucky. was it an original boss429?.....paint looked original fade, spoiler in front ,large scoop on hood 429 style and boss 429 decals on fenders......was listed as a mustang fastback.....$5,000.00........I could have screamed!!!!

  • I finally got around to re-splicing the video with just the car sounds - Search Boss 429 (Music deleted)...

  • This fine machine doesn't need nusic just let the exhaust do it justice....

  • what does it feel like to own one of the badest mustangs ever built?

  • clean take care

  • if i may ask where did you get your hood scoop and valve covers

  • Dope car man!

  • thanks! beautiful car. too bad the sound got ganked.

  • more reason to just the use car sounds as music to us :)

  • Ah stupid youtube disabled the sound.

  • Beautiful car,but one year too new!

  • great video!!=] i love the boss 429s, btw whats the song/s called in the vid?

  • The song has probably been out of production sense the 80s. :P

  • ha im diggin the horn!!! at like 1:50

    haha

im gona get one of them horns for my stang! nasty!

  • i think that was the person who was taping's laugh. that wasnt a horn.

just to let you know, unless you already new that and were being sarcastic

  • so shiny

  • Music over 429=FAIL

I wanted to hear the sweet big block ford sound!

  • Yeah we wanna hear that Boss roar!!

    I'm with capridrifter

  • And it looked like a rare SOHC 427 too.....if thats what it really is......Sad that it had music over it:( I really like cranking the sound of the engines so it sorta feels like your actually in the car;)

  • The Most godly car ever built

    i will own one someday

Thanks for the wheels ill send ya pics when its done

  • really nice no spoiler looks better

  • special effects?

  • besides the music none

  • in the description, it says, special effects by Ross. what effects?

  • lining up all of the video clips, covering the license plate and the music

  • if only these cars were back today...

i would be the happiest person along with many others most likely

  • I have a 1967 Cougar In My back yard & a 429 Engine In My garage & a V45 Magana In My living room I should take them to the junk yard a Man told Me years ago drag racing Is for the Birds, Now I believe Him. Chinese Dirt Bikes are what Is fun.

  • Great video! You never see these cars driven like they were designed to. That is my dream car especially with the grabber blue and the black scoop. And i love the 385 series engines.... unlimited torque :)

  • that is sweet... my fav car the mustang

  • my favorite car of all time...u lucky dog...it just looks bad ass sitting still

  • Open your eyes and look again Mr. Congeniality!

  • 2:15 the most large parking lot that never seen before

  • This is where "Boss 429" belongs. In the parking lot with the kids, on lonely roads. If they weren't do rare, nobody would care. This is a message from my '67 GT500 (it can't type - it's a car).

  • idk i keep hearing from car sources on the internet that the 429 max speed was 118 i hope its not

  • Yea that could be with the trany and the gear ratio that have. You have put a better gear ratio in it and make it go a lot faster. Specialy with the power that 429 has.

  • Also with the gas prises these days. I wouldn't want to be going 118 MPH with a 429.

  • i would, id go broke, but i still would like to own a boss 429, its the ultimate musle car

  • that was due to gearing, it was made to accelerate, if u switch out the rear end gears you could get it way way way faster than that.

  • Just for what it's worth some of you younger generations may not know these beautiful big block rides horsepower rating were seriously underrated for insurance company reasons and rating were taking off of the rear axle and now come off of the flywheel. So you are talking much more power than advertised.I own two classic Fords with 429's and they will haul the mail! Very nice BOSS 429 my friend!

  • ya i know that, my dad used to have a 1971 Torino Cobra Drg Pak and he said that when he stuck it on the dyno it had WAY more power than they told him lol i wish he still had it.

  • An example was the Boss 302 being rated at just under 300hp if I recall.

  • the Z28 was rated at 290, and put out 400.

  • the boss 302 actually pumped out 450hp.

  • In 1981 I owned a 1971 Ford Galaxie police car with 429 Police Interceptor engine. At the time the New York State police had 360 v-8 Dodge Diplomat's. I was speeding and a chase ensued. (young, dumb and full of cum)!I had no problem pulling away from the police until my water pump gave out and I was out of water. I buried the speedometer which went uo to 140 mph.(certified calibration). An oncoming trooper clocked me at 142mph. That was one of the fastest cars I ever owned!

  • I had a 67 Coronet R/T 440 - 69 Mach 1 351 - drove a Hemi Dart - a Yenko Camaro with 427 - but this car is the one I always wanted - incredible job!!!

  • The chevy in the beginning of tokyo drift is NOT a Chevelle. It's a Monte Carlo.

  • So it was. I stand corrected. I'm more of a Ford person, but still, I should have been able to recognize that. SAD.

  • ITS4390: No offense, but what kind of a moron puts a valuable boss429 in a chevy?

  • A "moron" who has respect for CARS and horsepower in general, you want a bad combo?

Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift, the mustang he drove, THAT WAS A SkYLINE ENGINE!

    WRONG!

  • I know, that pissed me off SO much! Rule #1 about cars: the AMERICAN MUSCLE and the JAPANESE SHIT will NEVER be placed together! That Chevelle at the beginning, though, I'm not a big Chevy fan, but that thing was badASS!

  • Hell yeah it was as well as the Roadrunner at the ending

  • Awesome! Love the music too!

  • damn nice ride!! is the whole care original?

  • sweet car

  • Chevy was well known for sending cars to the magazines that were very well tuned and prepped back in the day so that they would make a good show on the strip. A very well tuned boss would smoke all but the mighty L-88 vette at the track. I know of one that has changed only the cam, carbs and exhaust system that is running low 11's at a 119 mph. Ford never saw the full potential from this engine, factory fresh it was under carbed and camed and was lucky to make 300 RWHP. Tuned its over 575 easy.

  • buddy of mine managed to get hold of a wrecked boss 429, he salvaged the engine but had to scrap the car, unrestorable, thing was ripped in half from getting T boned at an intersection by a semi

anyways, he put the engine in his 67 chevelle after he blew the old one, best move he ever made, that chevelle is currently running and avg of 9.2 at the strip with over 750 Horses

  • If i were him i would sale the boss and buy a new vette!

  • Luckily, you're not him.. =D

  • what a turd u are.. the cobras a fuking british car u imbecile,, ac made em..with a ford engine...loser...and the boss is still a lowly 18 on the list..and cant go round corners numb nuts

  • Dumbass the brits made the AC Bristol, Shleby made the Cobras!

  • the bosses were designed to corner, with a smaller 302 model, the were used on racetracks all the time

  • Now that thats takin care of....great vid and a beautiful car...sounds bad ass

  • Ha ha what a loser this dumb fuck oldbloodngutlosers is....who cares if your sorry ass corvettes had 20 spots....look at the list you made...FORD WAS NUMBER ONE THEN AND WILL ALWAYS BE....chevrolet had to make all those vettes when ford only needed to make one car to dust your fuckin ass....FIRST ON RACE DAY....Bitch

  • as u can see the corvettes owned the tops 20 spots...way down this list is the boss 429 shit box

  • 50 FASTEST MUSCLECARS

    # YEAR/MODEL ET/MPH ENGINE HP TRANS GEAR SOURCE

    1 1966 427 Cobra 12.20@118 427 8V 425 4-Speed 3.54 CC 11/65

  • Hell yeah! This Boss 429 = Rules! Enough said.

  • Nicely done. Enjoy it.

  • the 429 would beat any corvettes ass in looks and power.

  • Please don't show your ignorance no matter how much you like a car. You said ANY Corvette. The stang was no match for the Covette in any era. Don't make yourself out to be a jerk.

  • 200,000? A '69 went at barrett-jackson for $435,000 last year. By the way chevy lovers, these are factory upgradable to 700hp

  • im a Pontiac guy but you a lucky man to have that car n nice video i like the music....wanna race?

  • Was that a church parking lot? Right on!

  • oh where do you get those tires!!!!!! i need some for my 5.0 i have them from when i bought the car but now i cant find em. please tell me where you got them.

  • BF Goodrich T/A's - try eBay.

  • arnt bosses supposed to have side louvers?

  • If you mean side scoops in the quarter panel. All '69 "sports roof" models got them except the boss 302. '70's did not.

  • I'm a Chevy guy but I would kill for one of those!! Awesome car!

  • a definite gm and dodge killer

  • its worth 200,000 dollars .

  • ill trade that 429 for a 71 302 lul

  • ill give you 20000 grand for that

  • Thanks for the great video. Thats my first and probably only ride in a Boss 429!

  • To wmjoca, You have the nerve to question the song against the car??? You should be so lucky! Think about it! The CAR represents SO much... and you'd like to question the valididy of the subject mater??? Take some time... realize what you are expressing!!! Think about it!

  • WE'RE NOT WORTHY

  • This is better than porn.

  • im happy to say that it was better then porn

  • FORD HEMI! Love it.

  • sick car

  • I understand why they were called the cramps. That song gave me cramps. Nice car but a lousy song.

  • i dont know why people complain, thats the way u need to drive a muscle car, my grandad has a 1969 also

  • omg r u crazy! dont do that the boss429!!!!

  • Nice vid, I may put my 69 Boss 9 on the tube

  • podrias decirme el nombre de las canciones que usaste en el video?

Please, can u tell me which songs did u use in this video?

    thanks

    gracias

    Carlos V

  • The first song is Goo Goo Muck by The Cramps and the second is Walk, Don't Run by The Ventures.

The Cramps were a early punk band out of NYC formed in 1972 that were influenced by surfer sound bands such as the Ventures of the early '60's. Thanks for asking!

  • I'm sooo glad to see that your car is not a trailer queen. It's awesome to see someone using it for what it was built for. To drive & enjoy. Good luck & I bow to your car, as it's the king of the road!

  • nice car...

    you're paranoid though.

  • man i wish i could find one of those even if it was a boss 302..i have a 67 302 coupe :D happiness

  • sweet ride, you got some wicked 2nd gear rubber

  • You're right that is the Ventures in the later portion, but the 1st minute is the Cramps.

  • 1st off, its the Ventures, not the Cramps...ass... 2nd, I think I need some tissue after seeing that GORGEOUS 429 Boss. Outstanding Mustang man!

  • is that the cramps? great band

  • It's so strange to think that 'til 10 years ago you could buy one of these for 20.000$....

  • lol i love the censorship haha nice car

  • i want one black wiv 8 ball gear knob

  • BOSS 429 HEMI MUSTANG the baddest muscle car ever made, love your car ptrmzr!!!

  • yea 1969, but yours is still sexy

  • omg take good care of it.

  • 1970 boss 429 grabber blue.... 1969 was so much sexier... black jade... baby

  • The only car i'll ever want..Boss 429

  • NICE! I also like the Ventures tune. nice touch!

  • 66chevytruck, take a look at the way the top of the shock towers are set deep into the apron. These special shock towers were added on the Ford assembly line to create space to fit the Boss 429 motor - only! Duplicating this would be a major undertaking!

  • beautiful car.. i own a blue 70 Mach1, as close as ill get to a 429. but its pretty strong

  • ventures.. NICE ADD! :)

  • its probly a clone

  • it needs the 429 big block to get rolling, 1970 mustangs are huge compared to the orginal 65

  • nice burnouts!!

  • Nice car man! Hold on to it.

  • Of all the cars ever produced the boss 429 may just be my personal favourite. What a fire breathing monster!

Get her out and about as often as you can. The rest of us who may never get a chance to own one will be very appreciative.

  • What a beaut...half-million dollars on wheels. Would like to find an extra motor and build a clone I could drive all the time and not worry about hurting an original. Extra motor?!?!?! that's a good one.

  • That is one fine job, very rare Mustang. A car that most will only dream of having. Thanks for sharing it on the tube.

  • Beautiful car

  • That underbody shot was pretty kickass. Nice car dude, take good care of it. :)

  • great video, great music, and awesome car! Love the sound of that engine!! haha...no need to paint it black, cuz most cars would only end up seeing the tail lights anyways!! nicely done, dude...

  • Awesome car, loved the vid. Nice job on the restore. Wish it was mine.

  • Super nice car! Neighbor had a white one back in 69 - 72 HE SOLD IT!!!

  • I'd rather have a Boss Hemi-headed motor than a SCJ. Also you shouldn't paint it black. That'd ruin the originality of the car. Boss Mustangs I think are the most powerful and fastest production ford muscle cars produced. Nice Mustang=)

  • The first song is The Goo Goo Muck by the Cramps (70's "pre-punk"?) and the 2nd is and the second is Walk Don't Run by the Ventures (60's surf sound).

  • i love the cramps.

  • name music plz ?

  • super cobra jet is the way to roll

  • Lose the music! When a Boss '9 is out and about stretching its' legs, it IS the music!

  • Not a Ford fan, but that is one nice 429.

  • paint that shit black man! those are the ultimate looking black cars. trust me they look 10x cooler when they're black.

  • RAREST CAR EVER LOL

  • Thanks for showing us the King of Fords actually in motion and under its power.Just gorgeous. Love the sound of it.

  • i agree so much with the barret jackson comment, its so true, its funny how all these people buy these cars thinking thell have so much fun when they get one, and all they do is drive it to the local meet once a month.

  • Perfect car in good hands:)

  • superfine BOSS you got and awsome to see one drive and show off its muscles. thanks for having this clip.

  • Thanks for the ride!!

  • A true unicorn. I love that its driven too. Build em up, build em nice. But drive em. Thats why they were made. They actually stay in better condition when they are driven as well. Ive about had it with this tucked away in garages Barrett Jackson shit. That 429 must pull like a freight train.

  • looks like fun

  • I just can wipe the smile off of my face. Its a beautiful machine and its good to see some one who will actualy use it and enjoy it for what it realy is every now and then. like oldmetalhead27 said, Thank you.

  • oldmetalhead2; It's my pleasure. This is really the only time I have ever "jumped" on it and it was really far from what Ford's toughest drive train can take. I've only put about 60 miles on it since completion taking it to local shows. After each drive it gets cleaned (top & bottom)and checked out.

  • Thank you for not only sharing this rare car, but rodding a ?$150,000+ car!

  • you are really lucky. Im beyond jealous
