Probably my favorite scary game countdown. Im very happy to see someone who has played the silent hill games make a countdown, but i am disapointed silent hill 2 didnt make the list. Fatal frame 2 was scary as fuck, but silent hill 2 is probably the scariest and the hardest game of all time.

i love condemned. i got it on ebay about a month ago for just a few bucks. id recommend anybody here with an xbox 360 to get it. you can find it for under 10 bucks and its very fun to play. the hand to hand combat is so awesome. the only thing i hate sometimes though is you walk kinda slow... and sprint kinda slow. it makes it more realistic, but sometimes its sooo annoying when you are going back to something.

IN all seriousness i dont find dead space scary. The necromorphs arent that scary. the only thing that scares me are the children necromorphs, the boss screams. And even then it doesnt scare me. The atmosphere your in i kinda creepy but not enough to scare me. I grew up with a mom who watched scary movies every night and she still does. But amnesia is only scary because of the fact that it's coming to get you. You get that unnerving feeling. Like HOLY SHIT ITS BEHIND ME. Thats how i see it.

Silent Hill Homecoming? Are you serious? That game wasn't scary in the least. It's practically the prime definition of shitty Western horror films. All it did was shove gore up your face and have pathetic jump scenes in order to try scaring the player.

I think theres more to it than just being a gore fest. I did like the characters... ALL of them, the idea of Sheppards glen is nice and there tradition dark as balls in a good way because you see the peoples reactions to killing there own children and to me the ending was a big tear squizer. I will edmit in terms of western SH I do like Shattered memories the most but Homecoming is still really solid.
