  • only treatment for this is sodium bicarbonate, CPR, Epinephrine and Vasopressin's

  • You'd only get a true straight line when a lead is off. You'd always have some wavering during Asytole. Hence the term 'flatlining' being mute :)

  • dead i think

trying to bring someone back to life is impossible from this point.

  • boring background music. boring title. boring ecg machine. boring death.

  • This IS asystole (eventually not on a patient), because if he would not connet leads, it would give a ecg line, you can see at the time he switches to paddles.

  • This is not asystole, it means your leads has been disconnected. You wont get a completely straight line, should still be wavy or atleast some degree P wave.

  • @adzrianzz If you look real close, you can see some small POOSIBLE p waves.

  • Resume CPR give meds...you cant shock them until they go back into vfib or vtach

  • so what u do shock(defib) the Patient or CPR?

  • @alosha22 Asystole is a non-shockable rhythm.

  • @boston18967345 : matter of fact it could also be fine V-Fib as well they look the same

  • @TheTxturtlelytiger Hence, checking multiple leads and changing the gain on the monitor to confirm asystole...

  • you don't need to put a sympathis music now ..

    we are studying

  • Im having this one right now....lol

  • wow yeeep there goneeeeeeeeee
