  • Nice Fish!

  • I caught my first grilse just about where you guys were fishing. I wanted to fish right in the pool but my buddy was a bit shy about fly fishing close to other people so we headed down stream.

I hooked into my first grilse about 5 minutes down stream.

I would love to have added this video to my channel and my Atlantic salmon fishing blog but they are G rated and you guys started this video with a few choice swear words. But great looking samlon.

  • awesome video. at my cabin the crows are super loud there like screaming little kids flyin in the sky!

  • great fishin guys i just stated fsalmon fishin and fly tieing this past christmas !, tied bout 5 flies so far the season neverhooked any salmon yet but im pumped !,

  • @RandomNewfie247 Thanks alot man, there is no feeling like hooking your first atlantic on a fly you tied yourself. So don't give up on tying!

  • @MrJWishart that was suppose to be 50 flies !, and i dont plan on it great cid keep em commin and , how do you find the simms convertable waders??

  • @MrJWishart i dont plan on it man ! and i ment 50 flies not 5, and how do you find the simms waders you got in one of your newer videos ? and keep the vidoes comming !

  • @RandomNewfie247 just search Simms Fishing on google , then just click on the waders category, then just click on the "G3 Guide Convetable", you can purchase them directly through Simms in Bozeman, Montana. And within a week or so we will be having another video out so stay tuned man!

  • @MrJWishart sorry i never ment it like that i ment quality wise ! and will do

  • @RandomNewfie247 Oh sorry bout that! I could slide down the face of the rockies on my ass and not get a hole in them things. I won't wear anything but from here on out

  • @MrJWishart thanks!

  • @Hydra773 Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed!

  • Very nice it just goes to show that we dont have to go to Quebec or Ontario to go enjoy the outdoors we have a good backyard here in New Brunswick

  • @hockeycat48 That's right my friend. New Brunswick has some beautiful country.

  • good stuff

  • @EasyRecipesHQ Thank you!

  • Very nice!

  • @TheRealChuckG thank you very much!!

  • the first camp you guys went into that was my grandfathers camp.I dont know if u remember but when you guys blue a tire on your way home we stoped and helped you with it.

  • @crazycatkiller098 Yeah man, I remember that very well! Glad you found the video man!

  • @MrJWishart ya man it is a good video are you guys going up there this summer.

  • @crazycatkiller098 what is guys is names

  • @crazycatkiller098 I'm James. And my buddy, the one who landed the big fish is Cody.

  • Do you need any special permit to fish there other than a salmoln lisence? I have been looking for places to fish salmon but I am scared I will be fishing where I am not allowed. Any suggestions? Inbox me?

  • Great job. I really enjoyed your video. I am so happy to see some young guns with the passion that it takes to be a real angler of Salar. Always the very best. FlySpoke

  • @flyspoke Thanks a lot! We love the outdoors and love to share our adventures with others!

  • august 3rd 2010..hmm the salmon are up and going up streams, dams, and rivers sweet im gonna catch some salmon =) i thought you were gonna loose the fish but you knew what to do with a salmon..

  • @MrJWishart comes with experience boys. Good job on the video. Just remember that is you want these babies to be around for years to come, play'em fast and let them revive...and let them go.

  • @mrjwishhart. I'm not going to start a big fight :) Good to see you young lads on the river. More Experice will teach you that you can horse those big fish in pretty easy in number 10 mins. Keep conservation in mind if you want these fish to be around 20 years from now. Good show guys.

  • @14fizzle for sure, we're all about conservation. It was just a spurt of the moment thing.. we were extremely excited, first fish after 2 long days on the water and it was a big one. We just wanted to hold her! lol looking back we could have hustled her and cut that 30 mins in half. thanks for the complements on our video also!

  • Looked like a good trip...maybe try and get out there a bit earlier next year, catch some fresher fish?

  • @Bluebeltonproduction For sure! we're gonna aim for a early july fish and a september fish next year!

  • Sounds good pal, let me know. I'm hoping for the 22-24 to go uncontested so I can get it in the 48 hour. There are only 2 of us going so I don't want to pay for two extra guys. I'll be fishing at the Thistle Salmon club while you guys are on the NP though, Thursday to Friday. Anyhow, tight lines fellas!

  • Hey fellas, good to see there are some young guns like myself enjoying Crown Reserve. I haven't been to the North Pole Stream since 1998, when I was 10. I plan on calling in for August 22-24. Is this the Sinclair Stretch just above Charlies Rock? If so, is Ramsay Lodge still there for the fisherman to stay in?

Anyway boys, nice fish, tight lines!

  • @p90xercise Thanks! We're actaully going back in August 18-20, this coming thursday. Yes this is Sinclair, I beleive this is the one above Charlies Rock. There's only the 3 streatches on this branch, the Palisades, Charlies Rock and Sinclair..!

  • @MrJWishart Nice man! I think you'll have good luck. They're catching fish just below Charlie's Rock at the Thistle Salmon Club. What's your number? I'll give you a call to get your fishing report, or you could just post it when you get back. Do you bring a tent up or is there still a camp to stay at?

  • @p90xercise That's great news! when we get back I could just send you a message here on youtube? and theres still a camp up! it's got an awesome screen porch on it and it couldn't be closer to the water!!!
