@glada I replace iacv and was working fine got hm notice long vacume hos from skunk1 manafold to the evap can was off I put it back on idol droped tryed turning idol up nothing happened so i think it might be the egr valve was gonna go threw and clean everything any suggestions no check engine and was lagging power tell I replaced iacv so all my power is there and in the morning car smells rich and a little white smoke comes out and it sputters timing is good and new so any ideas
94-95 del sols have the b16a3 it's rare I have one the jdm b16a3 vtec skunk 1 dc headers full exhast alot of fun if I could fix this idol bullshit need to chip my computer.

You should try and get a chipped ecu that doesn't pop @ 5800. With the way vtec is designed its better to have vtec pop @ like 5k or 5.5k so when you shift into 2nd and 3rd you stay in vtec.
The best I have hit was 15.8 and I am not the greatest in drag racing. Its an EK with 17 inch rims and a full body kit. The motor seems to run a bit rich on gas. There is something holding it back but I am having a hard time finding out what? It's an obd 1
B16A3 from a Del Sol VTEC running on the P30 ECU. Dont worry about talking smack I will take any help and feedback I can get.
@glada13 those 17 inch wheels is the one that is holding you back, trust me on this one, my car came from the factory 16 inch stock, recently i changed the wheels to 17 inch, the cars acceleration were all fucked up, so i guess that a drastic change that you did on a honda from a 15 inch to 17 inch will cause a big effect.
there we go thats ur problem take off the body kits put oem bumpers and stuff back on. b16 are torque less motor and ur trying push ur car with heavy 17's ur insane take those rims off throw on sum 15 inch Rota Slip Streams or Stock 14 hx rims'
it's bad changing controlling the vtec point, honda made it so it could be economical and powerful, setting it lower will play with the timing. My jdm crx is at 5750rpm, which is stock for jdm b16a
slow....bro ur vtec is set at 5800k or 6000k?u gotta change ur ecu or get it chipped so u can set it at 5200k at most n i bet ur car would be way faster
