I disagree with McCotters stance on the bailouts but he represents districts in/near Detroit - what else can he do? His fiscal conservative/small govt principles are so consistent and clearly articulated that I suspect he also does not agree with his support for the bailouts, but politics is the art of compromise. He's more principled than most of them.

I'd be more than happy to trade my Congressman, D. Payne of NJ for Thaddeus McCotter, we need people like him to represent the party, he's principled, smart, is passionate about ideas and is funny to boot. I was introduced to him through RedEye, I hope he has a bright future.

Selling out to unconstitutional socialism to win votes by supporting auto bailouts is one thing but embarrassing yourself by being on a show that has such vulgarity is a new low.

Your constituents must be incredibly embarrassed.
