Nice but are you sure about the vertical setting of your screen ?
320x200mode1 or 160x200mode0 are supposed to be 16/10. Is your monitor 16/10 or 16/9 or other ?
if it's 16/10 then you should get rid of the vertical border too and perhaps get a less horizontally stretched display, yet this would pose problems whit resized games as Arkanoid with a 256 verticall display (but those are few softs...)
Tiens : On parle de toi au forum de CPCwiki justement...
Tu devrais venir sur le forum CPCwiki, ils sont intéressés par ton montage et ça pourrait faire une super page dans le Wiki...
Merci de partager tes trouvailles.

Ok the vertical 480 is the messing thing then.
Can't you try to reduce the horizontal a bit then, having border of course...
Anyway arf, je devrais te parler en français lol...
bin a plus sur CPCrulez ou CPCwiki peut être...

@macdeath69
My implementation use 640x400 in mode 2, displayed on VGA 640x480 centered.
Monitor here is displaying 640x480 on full 16/9... it's the only screen I have :)
Arkanoid (and Tempest) use more than 240 h, so I just centered it in order to make game playable.
It's not really difficult change resolution on VHDL code, in fact I use same parameters than unix "modeline" command.
Several bugs are classified as "no problem with TV mode", but I have to implement TV mode to validate them.
