U cant compare Zidane to R9. they played different positions and different roles. R9 was a looming striker, who stayed front 95% of the game waiting for his chance. Zidane is legendary not because he scored alot of goals, but how he played + goals. Mostly how he played. He had great passes, great control of the ball, and was excellent at setting up plays. Thats why he was given the name the "Scientist!"
