I hate to say this but in my opinion Bruce ruins his songs off the born to run album in his 85 tour, watch some of his 1978 videos and you will see what i mean. He used to put every last drop of energy and emotion into his performance and in these ones it feels like hes holding back

The River-- that one shows how pretty Patti was when she was a singer.. if I were Bruce's wife, I'd never have trusted him overseas with her!!  And, the inevitable.. but he is still with <i>her, that's great.

What the river? The river is from the late 70's... placed on an album in 1980. Patti had a crush on Bruce (And he wrote that song 'oe..oe.. I got a crush on you'...funny) when she was <18, than the Boss told her to come back when she was older... and she did!
