  • michael forever jackson your music never changed at all

  • FTBYAM forever!!!

  • Loved this performance as a kid. Love it even more now that I'm a mother. I got the DVD for my kids. I love that they love the entire DVD. Young Marlo, what a striking lady. Young Mike looks a bit like Sanjaya from American Idol.

  • I'm surprised they had teenagers sing this. I'd think they'd have little kids sing it.

  • I love this song!

  • I've been looking this up and can't seem to verify it... did Roberta Flack do some cameo's on "Jack's big Music Show"?

  • Talent at its BEST. Who knew both would have such a HUGE impact on the music industry at the time they worked on this project. Wow!!

  • OMG it's MJ rest in peace

  • @natazer attention seeking whore:)

  • @natazer i couldnt help but laugh at this comment....

  • @natazer You fuckin bastard!!!! go to hell bitch

  • we miss u MJ )..;

  • WORE this record out from the local library. could not get enough.

this song always makes me cry (rosie grier told me that it was ok).

    adorable.

  • słodki jak zawsze :D

  • omg, look at michael jackson... so different...!!

  • one of my favourites on this project....what a great work......taught my daughter, now teaching my grand kids.

  • oh my god look at Michael Jackson back then

  • That was simply Beautiful!..in 1:02 Michael asked "Will I be on the moon ?" but he became something even better..He became The Moonwalker! <3

  • I love this. Never saw before. One for my archives!! Miss u Mike!

  • Classic!!! My childhood music. love it!!!!

  • @landk4boys Michael had vitiligo, ok. and also he wasn't 60 years old, he was just 50 and also he was male. Three big mistakes in one sentence, wow respect!!!

  • I remember this song when I was little! I didn't know that roberta & michael did this song. brings back sweet memories.

  • This album was seriously like the soundtrack of my childhood.

Seeing Michael this young makes me sad for how things went for him. RIP Mike.

  • "We don't need to change at all" says Michael Jackson, the 60 yr old white woman.

  • Two legends

  • we watched this in my Acive Play class today and i fell in love with it!

  • RIP Michael. I totally forgot he was in this

  • I get so sad watching this. So ironic how Michael sang about not having to change. Maybe if he wasn't so unhappy about himself, he wouldn't have died so young. R.I.P. Michael.... :(

  • Thank you for posting. This was such a big part of my childhood.

  • wow...that's so adorable.

  • I have a friend like this :)

  • AWWWWWWW THIS IS SOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE LOVE THIS SONG

  • When Michael was young in 1974, 35 years before he passed away...

  • this song is so super-dupper cute

just to cute to show to just anybody

but one thing i cant believe about this

    michael was 15 here

and roberta was lets see..1....carry the 2....add 3..... oh ok

    37 YEARS OLD....

but i still love it so much they both sound fantastic!!!!!!

  • this song is beautiful :)

  • The irony of Michael Jackson singing this song would only be apparent several decades later. He could afford never to "grow up" and indulge his "Peter Pan" tendencies.

  • best special everr!!

  • He's soo cute in that outfit

  • Things brings back so many memories.

  • ich liebe dieses video, meiky ist soooo süss. ich liebe dich und werde dich nie vergessen...

  • Am I the only one who noticed how ashy MJ's elbows were? hahaha! I Like this vid :)

  • It would've been really great if Michael's sister, Janet, was in that skit with him. Because Michael and Janet's relatioship was really strong, for brother and sister that is.

  • Michael should of said will i be rich and white

  • @resoonder1

    rude doncha think

  • @loMJveable No I dont even some dude who knew him who was black in a VH1 special about michael said only in america could a poor black boy grow up to be a rich white man

  • @resoonder1

i saw that too....old black guy right?

idk y u had to say that though

  • @loMJveable Yes it was an old black guy. Because if you listen to the words they are pretty much asking what will they be when they grow up. At this point Michael was still black and his dad had control of his money. When he was finished growing up he was white and rich.

  • @resoonder1

i just think its rude...Michael is still a black man whether its obvious or not...i dont think people should classify him as something other than what he is

  • I heard that Michael Jackson was 16 years old when he starred in this special. Come to think of it, my mom once said that his sister, Janet Jackson, was probably about 10 years old at that time. So I kind of figured that Janet was six years younger than Michael.

  • @BeatlesAmiYumi

    no 8 years

  • @loMJveable To be honest with you, I'm not sure what you meant by 8 years. Did you mean Janet was 8 years old or 8 years younger than Michael?

  • @BeatlesAmiYumi

    8 years younger dude

  • 0:25 shake it

  • MJ IS THE DEFINITION OF PERFECTION

  • amazing talented little singer.

  • I love his laughter in this video.

  • cute <3 and he's 16 there

  • he was a beautiful kid. i hate society. but mad respect, mj.

  • RIP to the king

  • did Michael say we dont have to change at all? hmm if this isnt the perfect example of irony then i dont know what is

  • Michael Jackson didn't sing in the original though did he? Did you know that Alan Alda did a skit in this series as well. Classic. I am so happy that I can show my own kids this stuff. They love it.

  • roberta flack sang both sides for the LP

  • Comment removed

  • I have the CD in which was done by Diana Ross. In that the lyrics were "When we grow up, Hey, When we grow up, Will I be a lady, will you be an engineer. If I have to wear things like perfume & gloves, I can still pull the whistle while you steer"

  • aww hes soo cute ... i wish he was samll. i love that laugh

  • hardly seems like the same person all these years later..he still has a nice voice..the good ol' days!

  • Such Cuties!

  • no michael you wont be on the moon but you Will be MOONWALKING! lol i love you michael joseph jackson!

    +God Bless You Michael Jackson+

**THE KING OF POP WILL ALWAYS REIGN!!**

  • i know michael was 16 n ths video but how old was roberta?

  • about 35 to 36 at the time. born around 1937 or 1938.

  • @Dntmesswitthis I know she's 73 now so she was maybe like 30 or 40 in this...

  • @Dntmesswitthis Gosh I thought she was in her 30's then.

  • @Dntmesswitthis she looks kinda old i mean not trying to be mean or anything

  • @Dntmesswitthis She was 37.

  • @Dntmesswitthis : 37. She was born in February of 1937.

  • Dannng!!! how old is Roberta Flack now???
