  • Hi, PHRAKANONG. What kind of camcorder or camera you used to take these video?

  • @VANNALETHX The camcorder is a Sony HDR-XR 200 (hand-held) with a 120 GB hard drive. All of my YouTube videos for the past two years have been made using this camcorder. The uploaded quality is significantly better than the YouTube processed version but there's nothing I can do about that.

  • Excellent!

  • Happy New Year 2555

  • When I first visit Thailand in 2003 I fell in love with the country and it´s people.

Since then I came to Thailand fifteen times. Being at home I watch your movies nearly each day. Often times my eyes come to tears because I feel homesick to Thailand.

Thank you very much for your movies and also thank you to all the thai people who make me feel like being in paradise.

    Greetings from Germany.

  • wowww ,Thanks

  • wow bkk is come back!!!!!!

  • Thanks for taking us on these video tours of Bangkok my friend. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

  • @Songer80 You are welcome. Thanks for watching and commenting. Here's wishing you and all viewers a very happy New Year.

  • i love khaosan road lol. I'm going back to bkk again at the end of year for 2 weeks yayyyy

  • @meancharlie122 ... Enjoy! ...

  • interesting video.i long to visit thailand again soon ,but its seems to be expensive to get there these days

  • Good memories. I love Khao San Road. Especially the lovely Starbucks near it... it's the worst kept secret of Khao San :)

  • Oh, Khao San, this is near our house. Miss Thailand very much

  • Certainly still has atmosphere.

Also worth checking out the shops behind the street market stalls in Thanon Rambuttri, Thanon Tani and Thanon Kraisi, all nearby. Thanks phrakanong.

  • @raidermanuk Thanks for watching and for info on Thanon Tani and Thanon Kraisi. I am not familiar with those.

  • Khaosan Road, for those that don't know = back packer central.

    Lots of budget accommodation here.

  • @xLancashireladx Thanks for adding that information. Although I live in Bangkok it had been more than 10 years since I last visited Khao San Road.

  • @xLancashireladx how much is a typical room there with Air conditioning? Is it dangerous? My Thai friend, here in the states, said it was

  • @Songer80 Not dangerous at all - anywhere in Bangkok. Just exersize caution as you would in any city anywhere in the world. Don't walk down dark side streets alone at night wearing gold!

I've never stayed in KSR, but I think rooms will start from around 300 bht, maybe a bit more for AC. Very basic, little furniture. 700 should get something a little nicer.

Maybe there'll be info on Tripadvisor?

  • Thanks for the walk. It's great to see the streets of Bangkok.
