could my 3 yr old dog get parvo? She did have the shot for it but 6 dogs around here have died with what looks like parvo! Also I have a 7 yr old rottie.
I just lost my puppy to parvo, i had her for a week and she got parvo before we had the chance to get her any vaccines. within a few days of her showing symptoms such as stopped eating, less active (sleeping most of the day) diarria and vomiting she passed on. If your dog is showing these symptoms especially a puppy get them to a vet immediately. Although theres no cure for parvo, the best you can do is keep give them fluids and and whatever is needed to just hope that they make it.
@AnthonyMorales21 there is a new strain of parvo that came out a couple years ago that could attack older dogs that were unvacccinated. ask your vet. keep your dogs vaccines up to date.
my belgian malinois is going through Parvo as I speak he got it less than 48 hours of purchase from a breeder called PSD kennels in MI. He is Ok as of right now but he was fine the first 1 1/2 days then it struck within 6-8 hours! It was terrible! I hope he turns out Ok.

he pulled thru it 9days of treatment his poop is a li soft but he is eating now and drinking playing running around our house ect he is back to normal a lil we love him so much he is a great puppy shep ;) his breeder is having a lil trouble at the moment with parvo in his house iam sad for this it is our dogs dad and problee his siblings as well iam hopeing all is well for them alot

Thanks for watching the video. I had a dog that died of Parvo Virus. It is a horrible sickness. It is too painful to watch your dog go through that.
