best pro wrestling video game of all time... though it is pretty much a tie with fire pro d (dreamcast). the latter game has some features that this doesn't (and vice versa), though this one is in english, has a more advanced editing mode, and a lot more free content out there you can easily download if you know how (armax + usb drive)

Fun game, but I'll admit it's not perfect. The controls take some getting used to, and unless you have patience you will get pissed easily. Fun game, but not for the causal gamer.

@AnthonyTeruel you can recolor only one "costume" of each default wrestler, and you can edit any downloaded (or created) caw. go into the edit mode.

this game is great, and has a lot of things that have never even graced a WWE game. The level of CPU customization for each character is staggering. Your character can act EXACTLY like their real life counterpart. A roster of about 300 real pro wrestlers plus 500 available spots for CAWs. THQ wouldn't even know what to do with that many characters

@mikegnr99 No not unless your UK PS2 is chipped, the US version is NTSC and the Euro version is PAL. If you look on ebay sometimes you can find a PAL version of this. I have a PAL copy which I got on ebay for about 30 quid, the cover and manual are in Italian but the game is all in english plus you can d/l an english copy of the manual.

Yeah it is, This game is the reason smackdown has create a wrestler, It was started in 1993, I had it on ps1 when I was younger{Fire pro wrestling g} This game is deep , Graffically I know its a mess,but I wish smackdown had this much in CAW options, you can make anyone from scratch, Yup even yourself with you cloths from ground up,make yourself mma,kickboxer, karate, or any wrestler,The draw back is that it takes forever, but its worth it{This version is Fire Pro returns}

i think they listed it wrong, i got it about a year ago(and i heard it hasnt been out that long) for 4.99.........does anyone know how to download these packs and then open them on my ps3 threw a flash stick or something, im guessing that is possible seeing as how there are no ps2 memory card slots but you can emulate them on the hard drive......its just a matter of finding a way to drop the save file into the ps2 memory card folder........
