@freekyybro Gebruik die set gewoon tot lv105. Of course, met een +8 set kun je meer mobs tanken en dus meer exp/hour, maar als het goed is speel je voor fun, right? Accepteer een slightly slower leveling speed en gebruik je geld om een +8 lv105 set te kopen. Ik herhaal, te kopen. Niet zelf upgraden, want dat is nu eenmaal altijd duurder. (Een lower upgraded, maar good awakened set zou ook interessant kunnen zijn).

Verder is het zeer aan te raden om minstens over te stappen op een +3 lv75 set, aangezien deze aanzienlijk meer armor heeft dan een lv45 cruiser setje. In fact, dat is een 1v1 set wat het AoE-en alleen maar moeilijker maakt.
Of je meer STA wilt, hangt van je speelstijl af. Dat moet je dus zelf inschatten.
lv110-lv120 adding some STA to survive in the Forsaken Tower (30sta rest dex @ lv120)
lv60M-lv100M 30STA rest DEX build
lv100M-lv121H adding STA to anticipate on end-game (55STA rest DEX @lv121H)
This was however BEFORE transeia (or w/e it's called: the new Azria for higher levels) and BEFORE the levelgap was increased. In my time, lv121-H was the max level, and thus FrozenSniper still is lv121-H as I've quit.
@keep42a How can you possibly compare a private server with the real server...? Gear is way more expensive here, and moreover leveling is way slower. And to optimize exp/hour you need a balance between survivability and damage.
Furthermore, you using a Lion technically makes you a high-STA build with respect to those who cannot afford a pet. And trust me, everyone who is just starting cannot afford a proper pet.
P.S. I've been full-DEX be4 pets EXISTED until ~lv110. Let, using 2...?

Optional. A lot of Rangers do really enjoy them, and choose to wear a mental necklace over a gore necklace for this reason as well. Despite that, it's not necessary. As long as you have (80MP)+(MP refresh amount of your MP refreshers), you'll not save ANY money with it. It may just help you if it annoys you.

@hradys I'm afraid it's impossible for me to tell you what awakes my oska set had... Maybe it had none, no clue. It's been too long.
I do however know I was Master when I first awaked my ABow, but didn't get anything good after many reversions (~+7INT is what I kept in the end).
Regardless, with your build, I'd be focusing DEX/att awakes, as your STA is already relatively high. I.e. pierce with elec cards in your bow (or wind for arrow glitch values) and lightning card in your suit.
@hradys As for awakes... Whenever you get something decent (i.e. not in your disadvantage), just keep it. It's not worth it when you're poor to attempt to get sick awakes.
@hradys When you feel like it, go Irens at 79ish. I've got a video of me AoE-ing these. Spawn ain't great, but similar to hoppres: few people hunt here, so QIs are worth a lot.
At 80ish you may go to Watangka... Or go to the Dekane Mine and hunt Pinkies.
And it's pretty much just pass by every creep in Madrigal now... After watangka it's the turn for Antiquery I believe. These are great leveling compared to watangka, and much better than Congury (which comes after Antiquery).
@hradys I personally went Azria at about lv80 (as I made enough money to buy a 7day ticket and I made my oska set +8 by some money-making (no real money used for me)).
Once you can get there, leveling speeds up, but if you're inactive, the ticket is so not worth it...
Once you get to 80ish, I'm rather sure you'll be fine choosing your leveling spot: a mixture between money-making and exp/hour, depending on what you need.
I wish the GMs or the programmers could find a way to fix that issue. i mean it is a bug/glitch in the game.. oh well i shall attempt to fix it myself. ill get myself a 10% speed cloak and try for a speed awake on my boots.
@TheDarthnoobius1423 GMs are there only for the community - they cannot change anything in the game whatsoever.
The programmers (Devs) are able to take a look at it, I guess. But I assume it'd be fixed by now, after several years, if they were able to, right?
Either use the values I said, either try out some values. By getting a speed awak you have a "random" value, so I hope that value works out for you! Good luck!

Leveling without quick step for example just doesn't fail. With quick step... for some reason certain speed values work. Don't ask me why. I can't find any logics to explain it.
Of course, also lag affects it. At laggy days, you'll experience it much much more than at a regular day.
Also the terrain affects it: in Forsaken Tower it occurs much less than in Azria.
Did you ever have any trouble with your arrows not hitting a mob when gathering? mine does this a lot and im not sure what to do. i sometimes have to shoot 3 or 4 arrows before it even hits the mob at all.
@TheDarthnoobius1423 Yes, I did. And with me, and you, every Ranger shall experience it. In fact, despite it's name "arrow glitch", all classes may experience it. It simply happens more while wearing a bow.
Many Rangers researched it. Out of my own research I found that 40% speed (cloak+max quick step) and 60% speed (unequip cloak + max quick step + FastWalker(FW)) makes me have little to no arrow glitch.
Due KeydosBro777 I know that 38% resp. 88% works as well (2x wind B, max quick step (FW)).
@sinzzer95 That 50m advantage could have been made at my Ranger as well, of course, by spending that time leveling in madrigal rather than going to Azria early. Madrigal is FAR better money / EXP until you reach like lv105. But the EXP is sick slow.
Why? The quest items.. Rich people wanna turn them in for faster EXPing, but cannot be arsed hunting them by theirselves. That's where you make your money!
So the advantage my other chars gave me in terms of money efficiency.. They slowed me down!
@sinzzer95 Despite that, the real money was made at my Ranger. Basically, as soon as I could affort to buy 1 full shout, I did buy one. I made 3 parties every single day and sol them for, average, 3mil each. That is 9mil a day, times 30 days, 270mil. Whereas a fullshout was "only" 60m back then.
It was a long way up, money-wise, but even with my old accs, the waiting was for my Ranger to go to Azria to get the real money.
So, to give you values, my other accs gave me an advantage of 50m max.
I had much as in "I had something". But let me tell you something:
My Blade couldn't affort 2 lv70 npc axes. NPC axes.
My Knight relied on the jewels my RM got my healing people at CW.
My BJ was a joke in a lv60 set rather than a lv45 set.
My Psy was best off sitting down rather than using MP pots.
I've started poor as well. So yes, I do have an advantage as for my Ranger not being my first account: I could use my blade/BJ with my RM to kill mushelizer.
lv20 archer with STR - quit as soon as I noticed STR was useless on an archer in this game.
lv65 Psykeeper - quit as it was boring
~lv75 RM FrozenCure - quit leveling at this level as I wanted to do more than supporting.
Many ~lv70 other classes (blade/knight/psykeeper(a 2nd one)/BJ/...)
And then... it happened! FrozenSniper was born! The first class I managed to get up high. While leveling FrozenSniper, I slowly got FrozenCure to lv105 as well.
@MegaRainbowDude I'll respond, as FrozenSniper is on holiday. BowJesters(BJ) have the advantage of the 4% rit for every 10 dex, instead of the normal 1% crit. That's the major difference. Also, they just have one AoE skill, therefore, are unable to AoE perfectly.
@MegaRainbowDude Basically, BJ is the early-game 1v1 counterpart of the Ranger, whereas Ranger is AoE. (BJ can only pipeline if he wants to AoE: google it)
Late-game, however, a 1v1 Ranger will beat a 1v1 BJ in the current versions.
People basically make BJs to get a YJ to a high-level without bothering having to use their yo-yo mastery and critical swing ability. So, basically, BJ is a class supporting lazy YJs. Personally, I did level a YJ however. My BJ didn't ever reach lv70 (boring class).
@MegaRainbowDude I prefer the tiny bit of survivability of a gore necklace over the luxury factor of the mental necklace. After all, neither of them reduce your pot consumption. The question is: do you want to use your MP pots less frequently or prefer that bit of survivability? Choice is easily made for me: Gore.
Arek rings, no doubt. At the lower levels you may want Stams if you really really can't survive.
Plug at low levels (see arek/stam), Demol at high.
@MegaRainbowDude As 1v1 acrobat you won't easily die, so I'd say go for 20sta rest dex at first. As you approach lv50/lv60, slowly start adding some STA to about 30-40sta rest DEX @ lv60. This depends on your tactic: 1v1 till lv60, or pipeline at lv50?
Look to my videos and turn on HD mode. Now check my MP consumption out. I usually have to use a MP pot every 2/3 skills, depending on the MP pot used. That's why some Rangers go mental, as they cannot stand that frequency. Personally, idc.
@MegaRainbowDude In that case you didn't watch carefully. I'm using 8th refreshers: those cannot be bought in the store. They only drop from monsters. Now, when I tell you I got 2000 of them on my RM as back-up, you may be able to conclude that I only use potions (both HP/MP, besides pills) which I find during my leveling :) This requires "gift box" though [lv40 party skill].
Now, when you know I don't buy any pots but pills, you know I make money by AoE-ing every single time.
@MegaRainbowDude In my vid "path of full-dex ranger II", you can see I have about 1bil when I open my inventory. Well, trust me, I didn't spend ANY real money: I simply earned 1bil (and a oska set +8 equiped etc., which has been sold for 550mil back then) from lv1 to lv103. Yes, a Ranger makes money. You just gotta know how to.
I can't say how much mobs you can take. It depends on your gear. Watch to my videos I, II, VI and IX respectively and compare the levels/gears.
@MegaRainbowDude Basically, at I I had an oska+5, and thus cudn't take extremely much. At II I had my oska+8 up and thus could tank about the whole spawn [as full-DEX!]. At VI I was 99-M and took the whole lv109 mammoths spawn [ranerz+10 now], and at IX I could almost take the entire Cpt Asuras spawn.
You should ignore INT. It doesn't give you ANYTHING good. DEX=damage/block, STA=HP.
If I understand you correctly: At lv105 your block.rate is about 90%ish [ranerz+8]. It cannot go over 97%.
@MegaRainbowDude +8 set is kinda nice to have... My Ranger started with a +3 npc set (lv59), advanced to a lv75 set +5 and then slowly upgraded that set to +8 myself to eventually end up going Azria with a +8 set at ~lv80. At 105 I started with a +8 ranerz to eventually make it hit +10 as I hit 120 99.99%.
It's simple: the more +, the more you can tank.

Apart from that, you need lv60 to AoE properly. Your lv50 AoE has a long cooldown, so you can only pipeline with it.
RM is recommended for proper leveling speed. If you can't find one, at least let a BP buff you when you XP. Without a RM you are almost forced to H&R, and H&R is very slow without quick step...
You ask a Ranger who won't ever make a BP whether Ranger is better? Kinda obvious what I'm gonna say.

Arrow Rain is your 2nd strongest AoE skill, and you see me use it all the time. Should I still answer this question, or can you?
Solo is only possible when you AoE at relatively weak monsters or when you hit and run the monsters. This goes for about all AoEers, as buffs perform miracles.
@MegaRainbowDude Fire bow = more "Fire Arrow" damage. (I believe less damage versus water monsters!). Other elements... Not for your AoE skills, only for your single target damage.
You can always make your own set, but usually buying a yet existing set is going to end up being far cheaper than making it by yourself. Do a good pricecheck before buying it though!
Your armour won't break if you use "SProtects" and "GPros" when required. Google when you need them, shouldn't be hard to find.
@MegaRainbowDude I'd rather not use a pet, as I cannot stand it dieing cause of lag. I've been using a tiger on my YJ which lost 2 lifes due local d/cs and 3 lifes due server going down...
Either way. Else you're best of getting a lion I guess, as it reduces the chance your pet will die. Totally up to you though.
H&R = Hit and Run. You keep running and cast skills on the mobs behind you without them hitting you.

@MrSaxxia As AoE Ranger with money you'll want to end up being full-DEX or max. 30STA.
As average AoE Ranger you will want like 30-40STA rest DEX and certainly not more. More STA will drain your damage and block badly.
At the low levels Ranger is hard, but at the higher levels (100s+) it turns out to be a beast (as his block.rate kicks in). More DEX means the block.rate kicks in earlier. (And with Flyff's new amps the 100s are not even 1 day for most ppl).

highest account till now is 73 blade (got psy,ranger and ringmaster) but i think exp is low already xD. How much xp u get on lvl 110?? like 0.001 or somthing xD
@Ubercool37 It's no longer healthy to talk about XP/monster on lv110. It might give you a heartattack dude!
Yet, in my videos, if you turn on HD, you're able to see how much XP I get AoE. It's not as much as at lv73, obviously, yet rather do-able. At lv120 you get about 0,5 to 1,0% / AoE, depending on how much you can take. At 110, well, say about 1%?
@FrozenCure Nowadays you can, you can make Hero within a week, flyff released some beast ass amps which makes it reallllly easy to hit hero. Flyff is no challenge anymore. Anyone can lvl fast, it's messed up compared to a (few) years ago.
@MadAimzor That's what I wrote 4 days ago: "We'd better just wait 10 years then start playing. Then we achieve the very same thing in one day which would originally take 1 year."
But yeah, I regret having quit Flyff less and less with their updates. It's cool they increase the levelgap, but it's very uncool to release sick cash shop amps. This will only increase the gap between cash shop users and normal users and furthermore it makes everything done in the past worthless. It's a joke.
@FrozenCure That's it nothing else. They should've made these amps only activate able for people who are lvl H lvl 130, so they can hit 150 easier but not so people can hit HERO easier, that's just bs and as u said its makes everything done in the past worthless.
@MadAimzor That would improve the principle, yet it'd again distinguish those spending far too much real money. The new Amps have as only purpose for them to gain more money, rather than helping people level faster. That's just a consequence.
Reaching max level is something which is to be done only by those who really like the game and do it slowly, but yet in a fun way. At least, in my opinion.
Either way, no reason for me to care, as I no longer play this game. University is more important.

hey its easy nowadays. Acutally im not so rich to put 5x 7DAY Amps on ( 200% exp each ) i had 2x 7day P so i had 4x exp + atm is running 2.5x exp event cause just v17 came out.

To everyobe reading this i personally dont advice you starting with a ranger unless if you have money already if i see people with a +3 npc set and jewels under +4 complaining about dieing all the time well stop your ranger and get a 1v1 char. Aoe requiers alot beter eq to actually lvl properly.
@ frozen the marksman jewel set ( 1000hp when u kill a mob 20% chanse on stopping movement 20% range + dex evasion and dmg depending on lvl) you think is worth buying? If yes @ what lvl? Its about400m
@XMETALBOY AoE requires a lot of better gear? That's very incorrect. The problem with AoE is that people get greedy and want to tank them all and thus die, but that's just stupid. Even if you can't tank a lot, it's still better exp AND money than 1v1 with the same worth of gear. 1v1 will always be slower, until you can 2-hit monsters without a problem (which is when the AoEers can tank more than a full spawn with their gear and thus are limited by spawn size etc.) So why not go AoE?
@XMETALBOY Apart from that, Ranger is simply a squishy AoE. High damage, low tankabilty. If you like Ranger, you'll get through that: I got my way to Hero being a full-DEX ranger for the biggest part. Furthermore I started my Ranger with no money at all. I only farmed some up using other chars (and my ranger himself) to eventually have a +5 set at lv75. Yes, only +5.
My moneytips in this very video and my quitting video will help people make that money on their own AoE Rangers.
@XMETALBOY I've never seen the Marksman jewelry, as I've quit Flyff permanently before they came. So, of course, I can't see if the price is good.
Anyway, 20% range: good for your collecting! Go for it!
DEX/evasion/dmg are just replacements of speedo/arek/demol which you then can't wear.
Stopping movement? Useless on AoE.
Heal? Reaaally useful if you use it correctly: damage half of your group for ~25% and when you're about to finish the spawn (they rage) you gain HP by it (survive)! Worth it!
@XMETALBOY Yet, you'll have to compare the price with what you get compared to what you'd have if you'd go for Areks/Demols instead. Despite that, the block-rate it gives etc. is reaallly useful at the lower levels (60-105) when you lack out on block-rate.
At the higher levels however, you block-rate has yet been maxed so that advantage drops out (this happens at about lv105 (with your new set)).
So ye, hard to say for me. Compare what you get for the money. Despite that, the heal is lovely.
hello.. long time since i posted a commen here, btw since january have i got bored to play flyff, it could be i got addicted oktober to december.. my Ranger reached 83 or something. is my highest i ever got soo fast... is amazing to see what a enjoying class can do :). welll i can only thanks to you Kevin... withouth u .. i havent seen how fantastic ranger really is. But in January i got hacked my money and accersories.. lucky i rescued my armor +10.

and the bot just did something soo all ur money was gone... i was not sure, but something with the flyff's firewall was down, soo then it happened.. but anyways i dont care.. it was just some money, and i stopped play flyff... i havent played soon 5 month.. got bored after 2 years i have played it... now i play S4 league or Cabal :)

@Logi2Henz I will never recommend anyone to level a BP, so I'm not really the right person to ask that question.
Yet, I can give you this rather basic answer:
Play the class you like the most, else you won't reach HERO at all. For me, that was Ranger. For you? I don't know. It seems like you got both your ranger and BP high, so you might enjoy them both. Totally up to you, really.
@zazynalka The only way to get HP properly is by boosting your STA or buying an unicorn pet (if you die, the pet dies! Risky!).
However, a ranger should rely on his blockrate. What do you need HP for? The low levels are simply relatively hard, but later on you'll do just fine with low HP.
The party will break after each member has been off-line for 10minutes straight. If all log-out, the first to log-in is the leader.
@zazynalka That's not what I said. I said to retain a party not everyone may be offline 10minute straight simultaneously. It's ok if during less than 10 minutes everyone is offline.

I have an lvl 80 Elementor (Tank) and I'm just wondering what lvl you can start those big aoes in (I have myuran set 3/4 +5 and dice boots +5 with +100 def awake)? cause in lvl 76 I could just take like 8-10 mushpoies and in your videos you kill the whole spawn.

Ranger starts to take big AoEs once his block rate starts to kick in.
Elem won't reach a certain level that he will suddenly take much bigger AoEs. You can tank what you can tank. You totally rely on your HP/DEF and moreover, your damage to finish them fast. You'll be tanking more the better your gear is, not the higher your level gets.
There are plenty of 50sta rest int eles. They nuke 4 times and run a bit, for example. Not saying its best.
i just got my ranger im on damian. and just wondering what i should cap my stam at or were i should put my pionts. and possibly best leveling spots for a ranger at 60-70? any ideas.... and oh wow u played alot of fucking flyff nice
@InfectedEnergyz You don't have to listen to this but i kinda picked it up from FrozenSniper: Your build should be either full dex or not more then 30sta. best spawns atm (more like lvling places) would be Volt (60-62 this though isnt to much point to do since at lvl 60 you get 2 questes that brings you to 62). Spider ( 62-64) and Crane ( 65 - 67). I don't really know any much more but i think all thoose places (incase to the lvl) requiers an FS for you an fullsupporter.

As you play in Demian, it's kinda hard for me to tell you what to do. Demian is a PvP server, thus requires a different build mostly. Yet, the normal (non-PvP) build is 30-40sta rest dex or full-dex, depending on your money. In Demian you might want more STA.
Level spots as WolfCraneCW said. Gather Quest Items and sell those to players for income.
i just got a 80 Ranger .. with +10 Oska set with good awakes . 28% Def ..55 sta and rest Dex.. i can take a whole spawn in fosaken tower so is fucking nice.. and Frozencure u showed how rangers are so great in all ur videos.. thx for it!! :D

@freekyybro Gebruik die set gewoon tot lv105. Of course, met een +8 set kun je meer mobs tanken en dus meer exp/hour, maar als het goed is speel je voor fun, right? Accepteer een slightly slower leveling speed en gebruik je geld om een +8 lv105 set te kopen. Ik herhaal, te kopen. Niet zelf upgraden, want dat is nu eenmaal altijd duurder. (Een lower upgraded, maar good awakened set zou ook interessant kunnen zijn).

Verder is het zeer aan te raden om minstens over te stappen op een +3 lv75 set, aangezien deze aanzienlijk meer armor heeft dan een lv45 cruiser setje. In fact, dat is een 1v1 set wat het AoE-en alleen maar moeilijker maakt.
Of je meer STA wilt, hangt van je speelstijl af. Dat moet je dus zelf inschatten.

3. take a A-Bow/LC-Bow for AOE
4. take a Ancient-Bow for 1o1
5. take 2 Pets (Lion and Rabit)
with my 3. Set (Acer+8) and my LC-Bow+0(HP/STA) i killed Red Meteo solo in 60min

@keep42a How can you possibly compare a private server with the real server...? Gear is way more expensive here, and moreover leveling is way slower. And to optimize exp/hour you need a balance between survivability and damage.
Furthermore, you using a Lion technically makes you a high-STA build with respect to those who cannot afford a pet. And trust me, everyone who is just starting cannot afford a proper pet.
P.S. I've been full-DEX be4 pets EXISTED until ~lv110. Let, using 2...?

Obviously full-DEX is the best build if you have the money, but in general, people do not and thus they need STA in their basic build.

Optional. A lot of Rangers do really enjoy them, and choose to wear a mental necklace over a gore necklace for this reason as well. Despite that, it's not necessary. As long as you have (80MP)+(MP refresh amount of your MP refreshers), you'll not save ANY money with it. It may just help you if it annoys you.

@hradys I'm afraid it's impossible for me to tell you what awakes my oska set had... Maybe it had none, no clue. It's been too long.
I do however know I was Master when I first awaked my ABow, but didn't get anything good after many reversions (~+7INT is what I kept in the end).
Regardless, with your build, I'd be focusing DEX/att awakes, as your STA is already relatively high. I.e. pierce with elec cards in your bow (or wind for arrow glitch values) and lightning card in your suit.

lv70: syliaca (the ones not crying) (I was used to die a lot here - as I couldn't help myself from tanking way too much.)
lv71: greemong (I went here rather fast as I did so hate those syliaca monsters...) (spawn below the bridge - in the southeast)
lv73: bombs (spawn all in the south)
lv75: hoppres (BAAAAD spawn - but great money by the QIs, as few people hunt here).
lv77ish: Mushpoie (great spawns - don't take too much!)

@hradys When you feel like it, go Irens at 79ish. I've got a video of me AoE-ing these. Spawn ain't great, but similar to hoppres: few people hunt here, so QIs are worth a lot.
At 80ish you may go to Watangka... Or go to the Dekane Mine and hunt Pinkies.
And it's pretty much just pass by every creep in Madrigal now... After watangka it's the turn for Antiquery I believe. These are great leveling compared to watangka, and much better than Congury (which comes after Antiquery).

@hradys I personally went Azria at about lv80 (as I made enough money to buy a 7day ticket and I made my oska set +8 by some money-making (no real money used for me)).
Once you can get there, leveling speeds up, but if you're inactive, the ticket is so not worth it...
Once you get to 80ish, I'm rather sure you'll be fine choosing your leveling spot: a mixture between money-making and exp/hour, depending on what you need.

@kristjanka1 Penya drop rate is about 10x as much than in Madrigal (500-1000 penya / mammoth)
Drop rate of items has increased (more sunstones, moonstones, and weapons than in madrigal).
For 10 hours leveling, I could get 120 sunstones, 120 moonstones, a lot of penya drop and many many inventories full of npc weapons/armors.
However, if you go to Yetis for instance, you'd have made more money by leveling in Madrigal.
First "proper" monsters to level on in Azria are the lv85 Augus.

The programmers (Devs) are able to take a look at it, I guess. But I assume it'd be fixed by now, after several years, if they were able to, right?
Either use the values I said, either try out some values. By getting a speed awak you have a "random" value, so I hope that value works out for you! Good luck!

Leveling without quick step for example just doesn't fail. With quick step... for some reason certain speed values work. Don't ask me why. I can't find any logics to explain it.
Of course, also lag affects it. At laggy days, you'll experience it much much more than at a regular day.
Also the terrain affects it: in Forsaken Tower it occurs much less than in Azria.
Either way, speed is all YOU can do...

Did you ever have any trouble with your arrows not hitting a mob when gathering? mine does this a lot and im not sure what to do. i sometimes have to shoot 3 or 4 arrows before it even hits the mob at all.

@TheDarthnoobius1423 Yes, I did. And with me, and you, every Ranger shall experience it. In fact, despite it's name "arrow glitch", all classes may experience it. It simply happens more while wearing a bow.
Many Rangers researched it. Out of my own research I found that 40% speed (cloak+max quick step) and 60% speed (unequip cloak + max quick step + FastWalker(FW)) makes me have little to no arrow glitch.
Due KeydosBro777 I know that 38% resp. 88% works as well (2x wind B, max quick step (FW)).

Either use one of those options, either try some speed values out by yourself (i.e. if you have the money to do so).

@sinzzer95 That 50m advantage could have been made at my Ranger as well, of course, by spending that time leveling in madrigal rather than going to Azria early. Madrigal is FAR better money / EXP until you reach like lv105. But the EXP is sick slow.
Why? The quest items.. Rich people wanna turn them in for faster EXPing, but cannot be arsed hunting them by theirselves. That's where you make your money!
So the advantage my other chars gave me in terms of money efficiency.. They slowed me down!

@sinzzer95 Despite that, the real money was made at my Ranger. Basically, as soon as I could affort to buy 1 full shout, I did buy one. I made 3 parties every single day and sol them for, average, 3mil each. That is 9mil a day, times 30 days, 270mil. Whereas a fullshout was "only" 60m back then.
It was a long way up, money-wise, but even with my old accs, the waiting was for my Ranger to go to Azria to get the real money.
So, to give you values, my other accs gave me an advantage of 50m max.

I had much as in "I had something". But let me tell you something:
My Blade couldn't affort 2 lv70 npc axes. NPC axes.
My Knight relied on the jewels my RM got my healing people at CW.
My BJ was a joke in a lv60 set rather than a lv45 set.
My Psy was best off sitting down rather than using MP pots.
I've started poor as well. So yes, I do have an advantage as for my Ranger not being my first account: I could use my blade/BJ with my RM to kill mushelizer.

lv20 archer with STR - quit as soon as I noticed STR was useless on an archer in this game.
lv65 Psykeeper - quit as it was boring
~lv75 RM FrozenCure - quit leveling at this level as I wanted to do more than supporting.
Many ~lv70 other classes (blade/knight/psykeeper(a 2nd one)/BJ/...)
And then... it happened! FrozenSniper was born! The first class I managed to get up high. While leveling FrozenSniper, I slowly got FrozenCure to lv105 as well.

@MegaRainbowDude I'll respond, as FrozenSniper is on holiday. BowJesters(BJ) have the advantage of the 4% rit for every 10 dex, instead of the normal 1% crit. That's the major difference. Also, they just have one AoE skill, therefore, are unable to AoE perfectly.

@MegaRainbowDude Basically, BJ is the early-game 1v1 counterpart of the Ranger, whereas Ranger is AoE. (BJ can only pipeline if he wants to AoE: google it)
Late-game, however, a 1v1 Ranger will beat a 1v1 BJ in the current versions.
People basically make BJs to get a YJ to a high-level without bothering having to use their yo-yo mastery and critical swing ability. So, basically, BJ is a class supporting lazy YJs. Personally, I did level a YJ however. My BJ didn't ever reach lv70 (boring class).

@MegaRainbowDude I prefer the tiny bit of survivability of a gore necklace over the luxury factor of the mental necklace. After all, neither of them reduce your pot consumption. The question is: do you want to use your MP pots less frequently or prefer that bit of survivability? Choice is easily made for me: Gore.
Arek rings, no doubt. At the lower levels you may want Stams if you really really can't survive.
Plug at low levels (see arek/stam), Demol at high.

@MegaRainbowDude As 1v1 acrobat you won't easily die, so I'd say go for 20sta rest dex at first. As you approach lv50/lv60, slowly start adding some STA to about 30-40sta rest DEX @ lv60. This depends on your tactic: 1v1 till lv60, or pipeline at lv50?
Look to my videos and turn on HD mode. Now check my MP consumption out. I usually have to use a MP pot every 2/3 skills, depending on the MP pot used. That's why some Rangers go mental, as they cannot stand that frequency. Personally, idc.

@MegaRainbowDude In that case you didn't watch carefully. I'm using 8th refreshers: those cannot be bought in the store. They only drop from monsters. Now, when I tell you I got 2000 of them on my RM as back-up, you may be able to conclude that I only use potions (both HP/MP, besides pills) which I find during my leveling :) This requires "gift box" though [lv40 party skill].
Now, when you know I don't buy any pots but pills, you know I make money by AoE-ing every single time.

@MegaRainbowDude In my vid "path of full-dex ranger II", you can see I have about 1bil when I open my inventory. Well, trust me, I didn't spend ANY real money: I simply earned 1bil (and a oska set +8 equiped etc., which has been sold for 550mil back then) from lv1 to lv103. Yes, a Ranger makes money. You just gotta know how to.
I can't say how much mobs you can take. It depends on your gear. Watch to my videos I, II, VI and IX respectively and compare the levels/gears.

@MegaRainbowDude Basically, at I I had an oska+5, and thus cudn't take extremely much. At II I had my oska+8 up and thus could tank about the whole spawn [as full-DEX!]. At VI I was 99-M and took the whole lv109 mammoths spawn [ranerz+10 now], and at IX I could almost take the entire Cpt Asuras spawn.
You should ignore INT. It doesn't give you ANYTHING good. DEX=damage/block, STA=HP.
If I understand you correctly: At lv105 your block.rate is about 90%ish [ranerz+8]. It cannot go over 97%.

@MegaRainbowDude +8 set is kinda nice to have... My Ranger started with a +3 npc set (lv59), advanced to a lv75 set +5 and then slowly upgraded that set to +8 myself to eventually end up going Azria with a +8 set at ~lv80. At 105 I started with a +8 ranerz to eventually make it hit +10 as I hit 120 99.99%.
It's simple: the more +, the more you can tank.

Apart from that, 550m is server-dependent, so...

@MegaRainbowDude lv50 to hero is a long AoE adventure.
Apart from that, you need lv60 to AoE properly. Your lv50 AoE has a long cooldown, so you can only pipeline with it.
RM is recommended for proper leveling speed. If you can't find one, at least let a BP buff you when you XP. Without a RM you are almost forced to H&R, and H&R is very slow without quick step...
You ask a Ranger who won't ever make a BP whether Ranger is better? Kinda obvious what I'm gonna say.

Arrow Rain is your 2nd strongest AoE skill, and you see me use it all the time. Should I still answer this question, or can you?
Solo is only possible when you AoE at relatively weak monsters or when you hit and run the monsters. This goes for about all AoEers, as buffs perform miracles.

@MegaRainbowDude Fire bow = more "Fire Arrow" damage. (I believe less damage versus water monsters!). Other elements... Not for your AoE skills, only for your single target damage.
You can always make your own set, but usually buying a yet existing set is going to end up being far cheaper than making it by yourself. Do a good pricecheck before buying it though!
Your armour won't break if you use "SProtects" and "GPros" when required. Google when you need them, shouldn't be hard to find.

@MegaRainbowDude I'd rather not use a pet, as I cannot stand it dieing cause of lag. I've been using a tiger on my YJ which lost 2 lifes due local d/cs and 3 lifes due server going down...
Either way. Else you're best of getting a lion I guess, as it reduces the chance your pet will die. Totally up to you though.
H&R = Hit and Run. You keep running and cast skills on the mobs behind you without them hitting you.
I recomm. 30-40sta REST dex as base stats, yes.

@MrSaxxia As AoE Ranger with money you'll want to end up being full-DEX or max. 30STA.
As average AoE Ranger you will want like 30-40STA rest DEX and certainly not more. More STA will drain your damage and block badly.
At the low levels Ranger is hard, but at the higher levels (100s+) it turns out to be a beast (as his block.rate kicks in). More DEX means the block.rate kicks in earlier. (And with Flyff's new amps the 100s are not even 1 day for most ppl).

Yet, in my videos, if you turn on HD, you're able to see how much XP I get AoE. It's not as much as at lv73, obviously, yet rather do-able. At lv120 you get about 0,5 to 1,0% / AoE, depending on how much you can take. At 110, well, say about 1%?

@FrozenCure Nowadays you can, you can make Hero within a week, flyff released some beast ass amps which makes it reallllly easy to hit hero. Flyff is no challenge anymore. Anyone can lvl fast, it's messed up compared to a (few) years ago.

But yeah, I regret having quit Flyff less and less with their updates. It's cool they increase the levelgap, but it's very uncool to release sick cash shop amps. This will only increase the gap between cash shop users and normal users and furthermore it makes everything done in the past worthless. It's a joke.

Reaching max level is something which is to be done only by those who really like the game and do it slowly, but yet in a fun way. At least, in my opinion.
Either way, no reason for me to care, as I no longer play this game. University is more important.

@MadAimzor Sure it does, but that's in the minds of those people. They choose their games over their own futures, which is entirely their loss.
Despite that, I didn't totally quit games either yet, as I cannot possibly spend all my time for Univ. just yet, as it's still too easy for me. E.g. I didn't even start studying for my Math subjects yet whereas the exam is in 3 weeks.
Either way, I'm yet trying to find some other things I can do rather than games, like making more vids: rendering one now

@Ubercool37 You find full-STA on sites? You gotta be kidding me.
I've been full-DEX throughout the major part of my career. I could tank the entire spawn at 105ish. That should explain you why full-STA is a joke.
Yet, most people are best suitable for 30-40STA rest DEX, depending on your playing style:
- Can you withstand the temptation and leave some monsters behind and take a few?
- Will you use your potions in time and not "delayed"?
- Will you run when needed?

hey its easy nowadays. Acutally im not so rich to put 5x 7DAY Amps on ( 200% exp each ) i had 2x 7day P so i had 4x exp + atm is running 2.5x exp event cause just v17 came out.

We'd better just wait 10 years then start playing. Then we achieve the very same thing in one day which would originally take 1 year.
HERO was used to be rare, now it's more than common cause of their new EXP items.

Hey again :) . Remember when i asked your adivce some 2 moths ago that which i would choose BP or Ranger and i choosed Ranger . Yesterday i got it lvl 124 and i really like it. Anyway i downloaded this video to my phone and im watching it almost everyday. Thanks for inspiration and today i heared that lawolf and aibat will be merged so one day we can do pvp? XD

And yes, aibatt and lawolf will be merging... No clue if that will be any good as many issues come up like "same names" etc., which will be rather lame.

To everyobe reading this i personally dont advice you starting with a ranger unless if you have money already if i see people with a +3 npc set and jewels under +4 complaining about dieing all the time well stop your ranger and get a 1v1 char. Aoe requiers alot beter eq to actually lvl properly.
@ frozen the marksman jewel set ( 1000hp when u kill a mob 20% chanse on stopping movement 20% range + dex evasion and dmg depending on lvl) you think is worth buying? If yes @ what lvl? Its about400m

@XMETALBOY AoE requires a lot of better gear? That's very incorrect. The problem with AoE is that people get greedy and want to tank them all and thus die, but that's just stupid. Even if you can't tank a lot, it's still better exp AND money than 1v1 with the same worth of gear. 1v1 will always be slower, until you can 2-hit monsters without a problem (which is when the AoEers can tank more than a full spawn with their gear and thus are limited by spawn size etc.) So why not go AoE?

@XMETALBOY Apart from that, Ranger is simply a squishy AoE. High damage, low tankabilty. If you like Ranger, you'll get through that: I got my way to Hero being a full-DEX ranger for the biggest part. Furthermore I started my Ranger with no money at all. I only farmed some up using other chars (and my ranger himself) to eventually have a +5 set at lv75. Yes, only +5.
My moneytips in this very video and my quitting video will help people make that money on their own AoE Rangers.

@XMETALBOY I've never seen the Marksman jewelry, as I've quit Flyff permanently before they came. So, of course, I can't see if the price is good.
Anyway, 20% range: good for your collecting! Go for it!
DEX/evasion/dmg are just replacements of speedo/arek/demol which you then can't wear.
Stopping movement? Useless on AoE.
Heal? Reaaally useful if you use it correctly: damage half of your group for ~25% and when you're about to finish the spawn (they rage) you gain HP by it (survive)! Worth it!

@XMETALBOY Yet, you'll have to compare the price with what you get compared to what you'd have if you'd go for Areks/Demols instead. Despite that, the block-rate it gives etc. is reaallly useful at the lower levels (60-105) when you lack out on block-rate.
At the higher levels however, you block-rate has yet been maxed so that advantage drops out (this happens at about lv105 (with your new set)).
So ye, hard to say for me. Compare what you get for the money. Despite that, the heal is lovely.

hello.. long time since i posted a commen here, btw since january have i got bored to play flyff, it could be i got addicted oktober to december.. my Ranger reached 83 or something. is my highest i ever got soo fast... is amazing to see what a enjoying class can do :). welll i can only thanks to you Kevin... withouth u .. i havent seen how fantastic ranger really is. But in January i got hacked my money and accersories.. lucky i rescued my armor +10.

@FrozenCure is not a normal hacker.. somebody said it was a bot, there entered/hacked 300 people...
and the bot just did something soo all ur money was gone... i was not sure, but something with the flyff's firewall was down, soo then it happened.. but anyways i dont care.. it was just some money, and i stopped play flyff... i havent played soon 5 month.. got bored after 2 years i have played it... now i play S4 league or Cabal :)

@InfectedEnergyz I always recommend 30-40sta rest dex, depending on how rich you are.
The more money you have, the less sta you need (as you have more def due higher + on armour).
If you can affort a +10 set even, full-dex will do.

@Logi2Henz I will never recommend anyone to level a BP, so I'm not really the right person to ask that question.
Yet, I can give you this rather basic answer:
Play the class you like the most, else you won't reach HERO at all. For me, that was Ranger. For you? I don't know. It seems like you got both your ranger and BP high, so you might enjoy them both. Totally up to you, really.

How can i get more HP on my 61lvl ranger ? i got 30 STA, 2 steam ring 1 is + 3 and 1 is +4 and i got only ~2000hp =( (and 100k penya ) ??
And another question if i make party i all players go off, party will be break or not ??

@zazynalka The only way to get HP properly is by boosting your STA or buying an unicorn pet (if you die, the pet dies! Risky!).
However, a ranger should rely on his blockrate. What do you need HP for? The low levels are simply relatively hard, but later on you'll do just fine with low HP.
The party will break after each member has been off-line for 10minutes straight. If all log-out, the first to log-in is the leader.

At 5:45 you're actually not lvl 100 but 108 you can see it if you soom in with 720fps.

I have an lvl 80 Elementor (Tank) and I'm just wondering what lvl you can start those big aoes in (I have myuran set 3/4 +5 and dice boots +5 with +100 def awake)? cause in lvl 76 I could just take like 8-10 mushpoies and in your videos you kill the whole spawn.

@peepsii15 I'm a ranger... You cannot compare that.
Ranger starts to take big AoEs once his block rate starts to kick in.
Elem won't reach a certain level that he will suddenly take much bigger AoEs. You can tank what you can tank. You totally rely on your HP/DEF and moreover, your damage to finish them fast. You'll be tanking more the better your gear is, not the higher your level gets.
There are plenty of 50sta rest int eles. They nuke 4 times and run a bit, for example. Not saying its best.

@InfectedEnergyz You don't have to listen to this but i kinda picked it up from FrozenSniper: Your build should be either full dex or not more then 30sta. best spawns atm (more like lvling places) would be Volt (60-62 this though isnt to much point to do since at lvl 60 you get 2 questes that brings you to 62). Spider ( 62-64) and Crane ( 65 - 67). I don't really know any much more but i think all thoose places (incase to the lvl) requiers an FS for you an fullsupporter.

As you play in Demian, it's kinda hard for me to tell you what to do. Demian is a PvP server, thus requires a different build mostly. Yet, the normal (non-PvP) build is 30-40sta rest dex or full-dex, depending on your money. In Demian you might want more STA.
Level spots as WolfCraneCW said. Gather Quest Items and sell those to players for income.

I am a ranger (on the same server even xD) also becoming great imo.
i remember when i thought it was so hard to lvl. but now strangley im almost enjoying it.
So any of you rangers reading this, I RECOMEND Ruducing your ranerz if you have the money to do so.
I had made my own, its all +7 with +16% att. lots of mp and sta awakes and what not but the awakes dont matter as much.
I reduced my and omg it was so helpful. I went from taking 10 princes, to 20 kings.

i just got a 80 Ranger .. with +10 Oska set with good awakes . 28% Def ..55 sta and rest Dex.. i can take a whole spawn in fosaken tower so is fucking nice.. and Frozencure u showed how rangers are so great in all ur videos.. thx for it!! :D
