Personally, I leave my offers open and just see what people offer for items, hat are of course more valuable than weapons, depending on rarity and tags are the medium items and deal sweeteners. I really only have issues with people wanting to give scrap for one of a kind hats, or people wanting 50 rare items for one low quality hat.

I dunno it seems like people should care less about the rarity and more about what would look better on their character. It's artificial rarity. If money was printed in unlimited amounts and given to everyone, it wouldn't be worth what it was. The fact that those weapons aren't obtainable anymore (with the exception of restored items, and when items are changed, making originals vintage) makes them more valuable.

It's like this. If I have an antique, and a reproduction is made, and is identical to the original in every way, the original will still be more valuable due to being an antique.

Putting my dupes onto tf2items for trading didn't get me any results. And I don't think that I'm the only person with that kind of "problem".
