That Gillette story is so cool, shows that they aren't sell-outs, any other act would have done it, but staying consistent has payed of, they're still here today thank god, and their beards are so cool!!

@CystVonCysor I'd argue that they LOOK the way they do because they do care what people think. The big beards came along and their whole image changed in the 80s to shift from a 70s rock band to an MTV era band. Not that I'm criticizing--it was savvy marketing on their part. But they definitely cared about being famous and making money. Thus all the videos.

Gretch kit I may have seen Pearly? Gibbons was kickn ass too. We were Standn elbows on stage that close, next year Lagrange & rest is history
The first guitarist to give me cold chills was Chuck Berry. Then, I went a long time without hearing anyone, that tapped right smack dab in the core of me until - I heard Sharp Dressed Man. When I heard that I was like: "WHO IN THE HELL IS PLAYING THAT GUITAR!?!?!" I've been a Billy and ZZ fanatic ever since. I bought the Greatest Hits after that, and I said: " Damn,I like song 1, I like song 2, song three's good, 4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17 AND 18 TOO!!!!!
