Well then explain how he was able to win an MSL and go so far in the GOMTV Classic tournament without the Bisu build. I don't think he used much of the Bisu build these days and he doesn't have to. He just has to play a standard game of sair-reaver or sair-DT.

If you manage to fend off a 5 pool, there's no way a protoss should lose. I believe it was Boxer who said a 'slump' is the result of sloppy and careless practice sessions. Overconfidence may have gotten the better of Bisu. These players are very young after all, and it's easy to imagine these kids forgetting that the *quality* of one's work is just as important as the quantity.

Gom is as huge as any other tournament actually.... You get just as much cash for winning and a KeSPA ranking. So think about it, would you rather focus on Ro32s or Ro36s, or would you practice on winning the big money when you're already in the semis?

sc can be divided into 2 main categories.. 1. team league, 2. individual league.

and that team league is the shinhan pro league... and 2 individual leagues are msl and osl.. msl belongs to gom and osl belongs to ongame net. intel/sambo classic just began as an event and gom tv just happens to get the coverage.. and wtf? MSL has been going on for years and years and still is the most popular league.

Loosing to a 5 pool is far from slumping. He has only recently lost to Zerg players which is ironic because it's supposed to be his best matchup. But vs P and T he is completely dominating everyone he has even beaten flash a couple times in the recent weeks. Im guessing his vs Z is lacking because of the lack of good Z practice partners in the SKT1 house.
