The Jordanian royalty seems so impressive to me, King Hussein, Queen Noor, King Abdullah and Queen Raina. they are men and women of Jordan but also the world. The position of their nation is such that they have to do the innovative thing of trying to understand and get along with everybody and then get everybody else to do the same.

I know it's irrelevant but she looks so very much like Natalie Portman. That's a compliment to both of them.

I am Israeli - and have adopted more right wing views about the situation and the Israeli-Arab conflicts - but when i hear Queen Rania - I feel there is hope. I know the arab world - Jordan included - don't think too highly of Danes like me and probably couldn't care less about what I'd have to say about their queen (Jordan's, that is..) - but dammit she is amazing; well-spoken and bright and beautiful, of cause.. that wouldn't matter if what she had to say was nonsense - which it most certainly is not! Here's a woman worth paying attention to!!

I visited Jordan last summer by the way; more hospitable people are rarely seen! Thanks for that..
