This reminds me of the nanny episode when Max has to pee so Fran has to go stand outside on the ledge because they are locked in and she falls three stories and kills some old dude at the bottom! Ha! Oh and i like the fight and chase scene:)
This brings back fond memories because it was filmed at the San Francisco Hilton; and I remember staying there in 1972. My brother and I would play with that dry cleaning door shown in another scene in the movie. (isn't that fascinating)
Ah, but the next scene has one of the best lines of the movie as Ryan O'Neal is standng in the burnt-out room the morning after, and a visitor comes in:
"Good morning."
"No, I don't think so. I'm the manager of what's left of this hotel."
Great film! Also see Bringing Up Baby, which is the original version - Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn are even better than Ryan O'Neil and Barbra Streisand...
I love how the room service guy is remaining so calm and still trying to get someone to sign for the food even though the room is on fire lol :)...

Why Miss Burns! What are you doing in Mr. Bannister's bedroom! Don't you know the meaning of propriety? xD

Madeline Kahn upstaged Streisand's ass left, right and below the belt! She was a class act and is sadly missed!

I love it when Judy (Streisand) says the line at the very end of this scene! You'd have to see the entire movie to understand why it's so funny!!!
