I used to think this video was stupid until I realized what was going on. The guy on the phone, the waiter, and the vampire looking dude at the beginning are reacting to her getting hit by the bus while she is doing what she was before she got hit, then the roles were reversed at the end. Girl gets hit by bus while the other guys are doing what they were right up until that point.

Great song, and the video is pure genius! It's so refreshing seeing a creative and artistic video, instead of the usual band standing on a cliff in the rain predictably boring video (yawn). Young filmakers out there should be inspired by this kind of creativity (and hopefully other bands should too!)
