Link light rail zips past I-5 traffic

When there's traffic the train goes faster... when it's light, the train is slower than the traffic. The time I rode it, just a few days earlier than this video, the cars were going faster than the train.

So, this is the equivalent of rushour on the number 5? Looks pretty tame compared to Minneapolis. Bumper to bumper from morning til night.

This is one of the best highways in Seattle as far as traffic goes.

@Lukelr this backup will last another 35 miles min. unlike msp where once your 5 miles outta town it clears up

@Lukelr Minneapolis has freeways that loop. Geographically, Seattle does not have that luxury.
