  • Hey dr. nassif i was just wondering have you ever done nose jobs on people that were born with cleft lip & palate?, if you have can u please put up some videos thanx :)

  • Are deviated septum procedures covered by insurance? Or did the patient himself have to cover these charges?

  • @dimitrovajunkie Hello,

Depending on your insurance company, they may cover some or all of the cost associated with correcting a deviated septum. Thank you, and I hope this helps.

  • @dimitrovajunkie i think it depends on if its a health issue or not, like I have sleep apnia and I had to go to the EarNose&Throat doctor and take allergy pills for a month, then I was covered when the pills didnt work to help breathing.

  • Hello dr Paul Nassif well I have a question to ask you well I have a deviated septum which I believe is the reason why my right nostril is completely blocked, which also gives my nose a cooked appearance, also I would like to remove the bump on my nose. What procedure would appropriate for me

  • @sant11207 Hello,

Based on the issues you describe, you would benefit from a septorhinoplasty. With this procedure, your deviated septum will be fixed allowing you to breathe better. And your nasal hump will be addressed with the cosmetic portion of the rhinoplasty, resulting in a more aesthetically pleasing appearance. Please feel free to send any photos to my office and I would be happy to evaluate them for you. Thank you for the question.

  • hello dr. nassif. i am thinking about getting a rhinoplasty to reduce the size of my nose(its not very big but it bothers me and people sometimes tease me) and to bring the tip a little closer to my face. i was wondering if this is a complicated surgery and if you know any good rhinoplasty surgeons you can recommend in the Atlanta area. thank you!

  • Great job Dr

  • Great job Dr

  • Hello dr... I just got my septo/rhino today. I removed a hump that was on the bridge of my nose... Anyway, my question to you is how long is my nose going to bleed for? Its been roughly 12 hours since surgery and im still bleeding

  • @saharaboy67 Hello,

It is not abnormal to have some discharge containing blood for the first 24-48 hours following surgery. It will gradually subside following that time period. It is best for you to speak with your surgeon regarding any immediate post-operative concerns, as he/she knows the extent of your surgery and exactly what was performed. Thank you for the question, and best of luck to you.

  • Dr. Nassif,

I have a bump on the bridge of my nose, I'm not sure of what exactly I want to do with my nose. Do you know of any good doctors in the Houston area?

  • @LouieIn720p Hello,

Dr. Russel Kridel in Houston is excellent. Please let him know that I referred you. Thank you for the question!

  • what was the estimate of cost of this full operation?

  • @andrew24p Hello, the cost for this type of procedure may range from $16-$20,000. Thank you very much for the question.

    Dr. Nassif

  • @drpaulnassif Hi Dr Nassif, that was a seriously good job done there. I'm in a similar boat. I have had my nose broken twice from impact from the left. I live in Ireland and I'm not sure but I feel that perhaps the surgeons here are not quite at the same level as in the states when it comes to dealing with issues like this, especially combining functionality with aesthetics. I was wondering if you could please recommend a surgeon in Ireland that you would regard highly? Thank you very much, T

  • @mcallist1 Hello,

Unfortunately I do not know of any surgeons I can recommend in Ireland. Please feel free to come see me anytime for a consult. You may also send any photos to my office and I would be happy to evaluate them for you. Thank you, and best of luck.

  • dear doctor i had an open rhinoplasty quite a while back. The scar is extremely visible, and very red. Is there any surgery that can make it a lot less visible or laser treatment that can do anything as my confidence has reached zero and i hate going out or being seen

  • @1337tonyb Hello,

The best treatment for this is a pulse dye laser. Thank you, and I hope this helps.

    Dr. Nassif

  • Chin Implant? Lipo? WTF!!? Effective dieting would resolve those issues much more satisfactorily than invasive, and wholly unnatural, surgery. Fix the crooked nose, fine, but the rest...totally unnecessary. By the way, Jeff's before nose looks 10 times better than that plastic freak of a doctor's mutilated proboscis. These guys are dangerous pseudo-intellectual greed mongers, and aren't suited for private practice.

  • @ericj305 if you even had an idea whom Doctor Nassif is you wouldnt be talking like that, him and his family are extremely affluent. one nose job isnt going to turn him richer, furthure more he wouldnt operate on someone who is not suitable for surgery or who doesnt need it.

Also dieting doesnt make ur neck skin tight, if you listen carefully Jeff says he had lost weight before the surgery, and if you think Jeff nose looked better before you need to get ur eyesight checked ASAP

  • @GemmaVonTease If you READ carefully you will notice that I wrote "effective dieting". A qualifier that implies efficient fat loss. Perhaps the "weight" he lost was mostly from lean tissue and water, and therefore not effective in allowing his skin to retract. In fact, it may exacerbate the problem. Also, if you READ carefully you will see that I conceded to fixing Jeff's TRAUMATIZED nose. Plastic surgery in its most utilitarian application, as it should be intended. Continued...

  • @GemmaVonTease... A patient demographic that represents a very small percentage of all nasal surgeries. Silly person, don't bore me with irrelevant factoids, this Dr's individual wealth was accrued one criminally-needless nose job at a time. I will say this for the good Doc, though, apparently he believes in the beneficence of Rhinoplasty enough to go under the knife himself. To his failing, of course. Continued...

  • @GemmaVonTease ... If it is your position that corrupting the geometry of the face through invasive surgical techniques is a noble and healthy endeavor, then your "logic" will always fail you.

  • he needs to play xbox

  • wow he looks so good!

  • well done you look younger!!!

  • wow great improvement

  • he still sounds like he has a blocked nose

  • Jeff you look Great! ; )

  • Wow! I am completely impressed. Blending science, and art together on the face.
