  • for whom the bells toll?

  • the kraftwerk up to the autobahn album is their best era.

  • Sensationelle Klanglichkeit für 1969!!!

    Meine Güte klingt das phantastisch!!!

Die frühen "Kraftwerkler" waren doch die Besten!!

    Vielen Dank für's Posten!!

    Yours,

    Folkaa ;)))))

  • Wendy was still Walter Carlos in 1968. Lots of great 1960's Electronic Music! yeah

  • Comment removed

  • but these stuff are specific to the 70's.i can't imagine such things in the 60's.

  • If you like old electronica, check out Pierre Henry

  • So, that's the kraftwerk's beginning...

  • it's strange to know that there was electronic music in the 60's...well,except the electric guitars.

  • Wendy Carlos released "Switched on Back" in 1968, which was all electronical and made with synths and such

    there were others

  • Sounds more like pink floyd to me

  • sounds a lot like tangerine dream

  • specially the pink years, their first releases from that band

  • Elektirische Oper!

  • check up on your music history knowledge...

  • @sonicpet The sad thing is all people get for music from the mainstream these days is trash and know nothing about music history. Stop watching American idol and find out what originality is people. Kraftwerk was the tops in electronica.

  • mmm... what about silver apples? there were many others.

  • In fact 'Oscillations' obtained an european distribution and was a minor hit in Germany, maybe(who knows?) it inspired a young Ralf and Florian into a change of direction.

  • very true !

    i love silver apples

can were around 68 too i think

bloody hell that's 18 years before i was born

    Still sounds fresh today!

  • The only electronic music of the sixties? There was Gershon Kingsley's Music to Moog By album, Wendy Carlos' Switched on Bach, Karlheinz Stockhausen, Jean Jacques Perrey, Raymond Scott...yeah, there was a lot from 60s. Hell, Raymond Scott dates back even to the 50s in electronic music.

  • @ZoolookTheMudkip You mustn't forget Delia Derbyshire, or Morton Subotnick

  • @nicademus666 thank you for mentioning delia, let me add bruce haack

  • Besides the other examples posted, there

was also George Harrison's (or was it Beaver & Krause) Electronic Sound album of 1969 and David Vorhaus' first White Noise album of the same year.

  • I can't believe, that the music from this ultrarare Album is here on Youtube!!!Thanks for posting this!

  • kraftneu, you're great! Thanks for posting your music!

  • Great video, it fits perfectly with the music. Congratulations pal!

  • very interesting sound noone had expected that kraftwerk would make such good electronic music later

  • Wow! I like how you take the forest and change the colours. Nice song. You are very kind to be doing this for us. Thanks!

  • proper krautrock indeed!

  • I may consider "Milk Rock" or "Rhythm Salad" or both.

"Tone Float" the longest track is going to be a problem, it would have to be split into 2 or 3 parts.

  • I know, youtube really shouldn't have limited videos. I have had to put a home made music video for the Genesis song 'Supper's Ready' in three parts, because I had already agreed to upload it.

'Noitasinagro' has already been uploaded by another youtuber. Strange how Hutter had no song writing credits on this album, he was more important than Schneider songwriting wise after they became Kraftwerk, at least, he had more credits in songs.

Have you got the LP of this then?

  • Not an actual LP no, but I do have the tracks on mp3 format, taken from an LP.

  • Ahhh, that helps.

  • hi

it exist on a bootleg cd

i saw it in a records fair

  • The band also had the following other members:

Basil Hammoudi -- Glockenspiel, conga gong, musical box, bangos, percussion, voice.

Butch Hauf -- Bass-guitar, shaky tube, small bells, plastic hammer, percussion.

Alfred Mönicks (a.k.a. "Fred Monicks") -- Drums, bongos, maracas, cowbell, tambourine, percussion.

Are there any more songs to be uploaded from this album?
