Her music must change also; Yu-na is able to carry more emotions into the performance carrying more color, and her correct way of using the edge for lutz and axel shes able to use correct edge, and carry great feeling into the performance.

Her skate is way better than before; but she seems rigid - no feelings, no natural movements which makes her performance without color - boring like some standard book. She also uses the wrong edge for both lutz and axel using internal edge all the time.i'm sure shell win the moment she uses correct edge.

I agree and believe she'll win if she corrects the take off on the lutz. I don't know if she'll be able to do it before the Japanese National which is next week, but probably the edge will be fixed by the World Championship. Mao-chan, ganbatte!

Umm, am I missing something? How in the world did she get 31 on her technical score when she didn't even do the lutz?! I know the rules are different but isn't there still a mandatory deduction for not doing the required element, or does she just not get any points for not doing it. Either way, scoring 59 with the fall is fortuitous, to say the least. She's so beautiful, though.

There is no deduction and she gets any points. Basically, she is punishing herself for not doing it.
Skaters have a deduction if they do an extra-element or illegal element.
