The NGPC was released in the UK up until SNK went bust (then the stock was recalled). I got mine from HMV Canterbury and it was awesome. Japan got an even nicer version that was slimmer and had a better / better positioned screen. Get one of those from ebay, they're great.

Re the "more info" the NGPC was released in the UK around the 1998-2000 period. They all got pulled and returned to the warehouses when SNK went under in 2001 though so none of the games got discounted at the end of it's lifespan. I had one. great little system!
