I just listened to this again... & literally? It gave me goose bumps cuz it's so heartfelt AND so Hip! You also of course had a great song to work with here. Great contest cuz CT's songs really speak to people! But you made this your own, Pow, while maintaining the integrity of the song. I used to do all covers B4 returning to writing, & playing originals. So I deeply respect someone who can make a cover his/her own while still being so true to the original version. It's an art form in itself.

You have an amazing voice & are a natural talent. I like the guitar voicings, too. OMG & the "trumpet" solo?? YYEEEAAHH, Buddy! Nice use of dynamics, too. This is the 2nd entry I've heard so far... Both gave me goosebumps. Not JUST cuz of great singing, but it's a beautiful thing hearing people who love Chris's songs get this chance to share their heart & soul here. Great job, Pow!
