@lordwouter7 Ive used pads for a whole year till a few days ago when i finally purchased a stic, the madcatz 6 button fight pads are amazingly good for sf far supirior to either consoles standerd controller, i must warn you though you can get limsy ones :S if you love the game dive in the deep end and get a stick, its so worth the money.

Play through arcade over and over to get a feel for what it was like to first play SF on a pad. Go to training and practice the same moves over and over on each side. (Hadouken 50 times left, and right side, Shoryuken 50 times both left and right etc)

You'll get back to your level within a few days.

@SmartFist Thought I was the only one. They have an advantage of not needing to be tilted all the way vs a d-pad that has to be pressed all the way, but they aren't easy for me to learn since they aren't accurate for me. Tilt left and end up jumping forward.

like the one under my comment sayed - dont buy a PS3 stick and try it on your PC. it will not work if you have a nvidia chipset. dont know how it is with intel chipset but i heard with a VIA chipset USB controller (USB 1.1) it will work fine.

they do it in tournaments 2 man because it's more accurate. plus what fighting game u know uses 8 buttons? yet you know you be seeing these sticks at tournaments. it does even make a difference anyway from the fact that the game is about strategy which means no matter how good you are at pulling a move off if you don't know when to use it then your going to get beat anyway and cause these are charge characters if you mess up charging the move still aint going to work.
