folks, alot of politicians make phone calls...don't forget, it's 'image'...on both sides of the aisle, they are told to do 'certain things' so they can point to those things...politicians don't have that much to do, and this is why you usually hear they are on vacations ect....they have 'image' people to make sure they do stuff like this---just so you know...

He was a flawed Human Being, as are we all.. He was both a good and tragic anomaly.. While I don't agree with much of his politics and feel disdain for some of his actions, it cannot be denied that he was a champion for good.. His heart was gold..

this is incredibly moving. i was a huge admirer of teddy and how he turned his life around to become one of our greatest senators but i had no idea he had such a direct impact on people's lives like this.

Ted Kennedy has always had such a direct impact on the lives of ordinary people. Americans can have what they have today because of Teddy and they should be thankful.

The man is no saint, he's not perfect, he's had his share of mistakes, but despite all that, he has braced through tragedies and still willing to fight for the common man, never hesitating to come to aid of someone who needs or ask for his help.

I will always remember him as the man who gave me a chance to walk again.
