Please tell me everybody's read the book.

This is one of the few movies where reading the book first is beneficial.

The movie has a hint of optimism. The book, besides lame 'happy ending' additions, was so bleak and depressing. And it focuses on more than the dogs and the Tod.

The movie is quite like the book, really. Better than most adaptations.

But, I wished they'd left in the part where Snitter sees the Terrier bitch on Dow Crag.

That whole episode f*cked my life up for a week.

As Snitter jumps the guy all playfully he accidentely fires off the gun. This scene is kind of weird in the movie, 'nuff said. /:
