  • can you feel the bar inside you?

  • @sas103 i FELT the bar inside me, i have no bar from about one year.

  • I had the nuss procedure done 3 months ago and it still kinda hurts. But I want to do cheer in a couple of months, can I still do backbends and round offs and things like that in a couple months at all? Because I really want to know if the bar is able to let me. Please reply as soon as possible if you have any idea. Thanks

  • @laurenandlemons

You will be able, but not so early. The path is long and hard, but each day is better than the previous.

    Sorry for crap english.

  • @reptileita Don't exaggerate, I had it done in May and it didn't hurt anymore after 5 weeks. The first days are bad, just take some contramal and you'll be good.

  • @CroatianDealer1 I guess each case is different from everyone else

  • Hey man I went for the nuss procedure about a week and a half ago and I was just wondering how many weeks is it untill I can sleep on my side and my stomach again please reply asap

  • @hondarider519

I think in a month and a half you will BEGIN to TRY to stay on your side/stomach.

You are in the worst period.

  • July 9th is my surgery... How many days you stay in the hospital?

  • @gdoset 10 days

  • Thank man so how bad is the pain over all

  • I'm going for the surgery on June 1st wish me luck

  • @hondarider519 good luck :)

  • dude i have a question i still have the bar in do you think i can go to the military or be a cop with the bar still in?

  • @IVON899898

I can not answer such question... anyway, seems dangerous... i mean go to te military or cop.

Ofc make an handstand can be dangerous too :V

  • @IVON899898 not with the bar in no, im about to go into the marine corps, and its a automatic discharge unless you prove your physically fit enough to go in.. you have to get waivers and all kinds of shit

  • @reptileita wow...Not here...lol

  • @reptileita lmao great answer

  • so i had my surgery like 3 months ago, and i still feel a shitload of pain when i workout is this known to happen to u when u worked out?

  • @darkaura12 If it hurt when u workout after 3 months u are working out with to much weight... remember that u have done a surgery and u might not be able to go from where u were before so u might have to work urself to the top again...

  • im 16. i had my surgery 2 weeks ago a nussss procedure now i can dance anymore T_T

  • @xNoNameNoFamex

First month is the worst time... you have to be strong... you will be strong

  • lol people who get the surgery unless its servere r jus lazy, jus workout, it pulls it out

  • @TOWinkworthIpswich

    Workout does not solve PE...

It can just improve appearance before and after surgery...

  • @reptileita like i said, unless its sever it can improve it, i dont have it severe, and working out has pulled it out, not completely, but enough for it to be at least flat

  • Comment removed

  • @TOWinkworthIpswich no it doesent its a bone you cant pull out a bone trust me i have it ive been working out 2 years dont give 2 shits what people think about it but yeah all that work out non sence.. dont work

  • i'm gonna do this surgery at the 30th of june =)

  • @shiftysnax You've been snowboarding! That is music to my ears dude. Im going in for the Nuss next week and man Im worried sick that I wont be able to go boarding after it. How long afterward the op were you boarding? Im giving myself 7 months to be ready for the slopes. What age are you?

  • @shiftysnax a couple of scraps really? cuz im an amatuer boxer and was thinking about getting the surgery...what did your doctor say about high contact sports like boxing and such cuz if i have to give up boxing after the surgery then no thank you

  • @kewlkid629 i think you will not be able to practice high contact sports for years after surgery :\

    I'm sorry...

  • @reptileita all good dude i just won't get the surgery and do what i love to do and not give a fuck what ppl think

  • @kewlkid629 word dude .. ive skate boarded since as long as i can remember .... pool skating aint no joke.. but also being 23 and still feeling akward and reclusive during the summer when all my pals go out to the beach is a major self esteem blow .. .. im torn .. i love skating to much to just give it up

  • haha your bar should have flipped lol, just joking btw im getting operated in 6 months anything i should know or do?

  • @theawesomebenji you shuld enjoy sports, after surgery you will be strong as a child for 4-6 months :P

    Prepare yourself.

  • @theawesomebenji i just got it monday, like how reptile said, enjoy every little bit of movement u can. like, i cant sleep flat. and i wont be able to for like a month. get prepared for the pain bro, cuz it will be intense lol. not tryin to scare u or anythin but just so u dont wake up surprised.

  • a couple of scraps really?..cuz im an amatuer boxer with pectus so i was wondering if i could get surgery and still box...what did your surgeon tell you about high contact sports like that

  • Great job dude. I have Pectus bar one week old. Hurts like hell. Getting better every day. Nice to see you're back in bussiness after 10 months.

  • I'm 23, do y'all recommend nuss or ravich?

my heart hurts when I do anything that seems to raise my heart rate (jogging, exercise, even long fast walking) I always knew I had a dent but didn't associate it with fatigue and breathing issues.

  • Could you not do a handstand before? Also I have PE and I was wondering if you had raised collarbones before and or after surgery?

  • my english is bad, can you explain what do you mean with "had raised collarbones" i really dont understand.

do you want to know if i was able to do an handstand before surgery? of course i was able.

    sorry for misunderstanding :V

  • My collarbones are slightly raised because of the pectus excavatum. They stand higher than the normal collarbone. I was just wondering if your collarbones were lifted too. My PE isnt that bad but I could never do a handstand. Its probably just me. nm

  • Isnt it risky?

  • many things are "risky"...

  • este video k tiene k ver con pectus pork yo tengo y hacer el pino no tiene nada k ver jejej

  • ops i missed the most important question.

You will have nuss procedure or ravich one?

Some ppl think nuss procedure is quite masochistich in "adulthood".

Ok im adult too, but in fact im quite masochist :P

  • Yo, Ive got PE. Looking to have the op done in the next couple of months but Im a gymnast (trampolinist) and am worried its gonna stop me. Seeing you do that give me some great hope man. Thanks!

How are you finding the bar? Does it get in the way for other things? Can you run/swim? Can you fall and take a bump?

And what age are you? Im 27. Wondering if that'll make a difference.

  • (sorry for my poor english)

I'm 21 years old. The bar is obviously uncomfortable, in the first 1-2 months after op i was not able to do any sports.

From 2 to 6 months i was able to do "aerobic" sports, like running or swimming, with no problems. After the 6th months i started "Weightlifting".

A good question is "Can you fall and take a bump?" :/ in the first months i was afraid to ride bike, cause of bumps. You are a trampolinist, i really dont know for how many months you will be stopped.

  • yo tengo pectus excavatum T-T

  • hola ,y ya te operaste?
