@resteep International releases cost money. He may not be able to afford it right now, or he just may not realize how many buys he'd get in the US if he did release it here.

I see your point, but it still doesn't make sense to me (or dollars to shad). So, meanwhile, kids are downloading his album for free, even if they WANT to buy it.
@resteep I'm not saying it would be a bad move for Shad to release it in the United States, not at all. I'm saying he possibly may not think it's a smart move (which it would be), in the future it should be released here though.

"i'm in the same boat as the pirate deed, they don't buy it. i say dont buy it pirate me". Like sure cash is nice for him, but it's obviously not in his top 3 of his To-Do-list
@FreeBills I think you misinterpreted that line. The new music/economic model is to release albums at a low profit margin and then recoup on tour and merch. I doubt he's saying he doesnt want to make money. He's merely referencing the fact that he is still 'underground', and therefore benefits more from exposure than just album sales. But any artist still wants to make money at what they do.
@resteep yea i might've but i do still think that Shads' not doing this to get rich, i think of course he likes money but only so that he can go and make more music, in so many of his songs theres referances of him making fun of popular and rich artist and what not. so like i'm sure he wants exposure just so more people can hear his music, not necessarily buy his music. But yea i agree every artist still wants money for what they do.
