  • Personal Maid !!, she is a Cracker, I would love her as my Maid what a lucky man the prisoner is ,

  • Iif The Village existed it would be torture. They make it look comfy but think about having to live in a house thats yours but not yours, listening to music chosen by others 24 hours a day, video feed even in the bathroom, walking amongst the mindless and the individuals too afraid to speak at all, trying to drug you every night, and you cant even wear your own clothes O_o! creepy...

  • When he's interrogating the maid, it's kind of like what it feels like to interact with the pinks. You never thought to question?

  • 2:01-2:28 LOL! I lots of the time feel like doing just that when I'm subjected to lifeless elevator musaic style music created for no other purpose than to just sooth you into a stupor when you're put on hold and are waiting and waiting and waiting for customer service.

  • Wish i had a maid like that.

  • @CaptainBuckRogers haha thats what i say. He must be crazy to kick her out. I was thinking ill have some for breakfast/dinner and then mid-night snack.

  • 'We don't ask questions here'.

'They have a saying a still tongue makes for a happy life'. That sounds like some of the places I have worked in.

  • ITV4 is running the series again and the images are crystal clear. It looks superb on a widescreen television.

I think it was simply the best television series ever.

  • Thank you for the post, beachedblogger. This show has an amazing parallel to my own life, although there has been some changes due to the Russian Dance. It's a shame, really, it was the hybrid girls who really broke the universes heart. They were meant for number one. --

  • He's really into that lava lamp.

  • No on quits wikipedia number six! Wikipedia wants information! Information!!!

  • i always liked that bald guy...

  • What's the music playing on the radio called?

  • @Aceofbucketandspades Music: it doesn't have a name; it's the village!

  • @echobeach42 Haha I suppose not :P

  • Brilliance epitomized.

  • The prisoner was the most excellent series ever that no one EVEN remembers.

  • Excellent clip with lots of elements that define the series. I especially like the speaker/radio that will not turn off. The comment by the electric man is funny when he says in an emergency he walks! The Prisoner is certainly the greatest TV series ever made.

  • Patrick McGoohan in his PRIME! Love this man and the series.

  • where can i watch the rest of this episode - cant seem to find it on youtube!

  • on AMC, find it on HULU

  • IFC is running them now

  • effing LAVA LAMP! >:0

  • what a cool clip

  • thanks patrick for an incredible show...the most original in TV history...RIP

  • This show was far ahead of its time; as relevent today as ever. Rest in peace Mr. McGoohan.

  • I could not possible say it better than that. RIP Patrick, and thank you.

  • RIP Patrick McGoohan

  • Indeed....RIP Mr. McGoohan.

  • You can count on one hand the shows which mattered....

  • Patrick McGoohan passed away today at the age of 80. He will never be forgotten.

  • Something about the Prisoner that I can relate to having lived in the U.S for the last eight years. Perhaps as of Jan 20th we have escaped.

  • Na, we have just traded one globalist for another. Republicans and Democrats are just two sides of the same New World Order coin. Both bought and paid for by the central banks of the world. Just another flavor of the same old march to tyranny. I fear the USA hasn't much longer. We are heading for 3 world stasis like a car over a cliff and all people do is watch ball games and American Idol and pretend that their electronic vote matters for one of the pre-positioned candidates once every 4 years.

  • As it should be.

  • Everyone acts like Democracy is so great, thank god we were saved from the tyranny of the Monarchy and the aristocratic caste.

But Democracy is just as non-nonsensical, why should everyone within a specified geographical region be forced to obey policies defined by people elected in popularity contests held every four years?

Institutionalized governance is a load of crap.

  • That's an argument for smaller countries; an argument against federations, not democracy.

  • No, it's an argument for non-compulsory provision of services.

  • Well, what do you think now....? The joke's on you.

  • Actually, I couldn't be happier!

  • ANNOYING MUSIC MAKE THE EPISODE!

  • God, why can't they make t.v of this quality now!

  • I assume for much the same reason that a real Lotus 7 wouldn't be legal if made new today:

It's art, it's fun, but it isn't safe.
