  • I've gotta get me one of these cars ... apparently getting in is almost as much fun as driving one!

  • my friend suddently picked me up this evening, he was driving his uncle's Caterham. so we went to the industrial terrain (becouse there whas nobady) and we drove 150 Km/H where you're allowed to drive 50! but the car is Just awesom, the sound the wind, event the Smell!!! OOh i love this car.

    funy vid BTW

  • love the car

  • now try doing that with a full cage :))

  • "Like a true duke of Hazzard." Hahaha

  • Hmm. The best race between a Lotus and a Caterham?

Racing for time as to get into one and back out of one :)

  • lol

"Is it easier on one side than on the other?"

Yes, it is, but on the left side because no pedals^^

  • I just love this car

  • One day. One day, I will own one of these.

  • quick question, I'm seriously thinking about either the Westfield SESport with either the 1.6 turbo (from corsa VXR) or the 200 bhp 2.0 ford unit, or one of the caterham roadsport 175's, if anyone can tell me which one would be the best, I'd appreciate it, it has to be fast on the track, and also happy enough to cruise for about 3-4 hours on the motorways, and do continental stuff----Cheers

  • @badman2504 The Westfield with the 1.6T unit from the Corsa VXR got absolutely slated by Jason from 5th Gear. Poorly buillt, and the engine didn't suit. It lacked the throttle response and control you get with the N/A engines. I'm sure you would find some useful info with a bit of searching

  • nice car ! ^^

  • i have no problem,but i am 5'6" and 11 stone

  • Would help if the roof was fitted properly and pulled taut. That way longshanks would have a little more headroom to play with. I have no problem climbing in and out of mine with or without the roof.

  • Cracking job, my westfeild is the same, although i would class myself as more like the second person than the first! - What happened to the roof however. Doesnt really seem to fit at all?

  • haha it also helps if your young, though my dad has now mastered the trick no probs. On another note why is your roof such an ill fit?

  • Best thing about this video has to be the number plate; well snapped up!

  • @rhauri I don't get it; what does "R300 YOB" mean?

  • @justforever96 Well Caterham make an R300... so this very well could be an R300, of which he considers himself a YOB, with an R300... get it - he's an R300 YOB... aaaaaaaaaaaah forget it ;-)

  • @rhauri LOL....so what does "YOB" stand for? Maybe that's a dumb question, but I'm not familiar with that term. Not that I can recall, anyway!

  • @justforever96 Oh I see, well that explains why you don't get it. A 'yob' is name given to loud and rowdy people, like a lout, thug, or hooligan. Hope that helps!

  • @rhauri Ah, yes, I see now. Definitely well chosen!

  • Once your in you never want to get out again, ever.

  • @CjDj2007 good, cuz you cant, EVER.

  • need to go for the SV lol slightly bigger lol

  • Just bad. Put both legs in first and sit ya bum on the sill. Slide in after that. I hope this is a joke.

  • it's awful, I don't care. I love it.

  • Richard,

I have people rolling their eyes when I show them how to get in. Looks a lot more fun to let them fend for themselves!

    Andy
