  • Their End Game is a cashless society with Bio chip implants, a bunch of ex commies run this Zeitgeist scam.

  • @MONOPOLY35 so you have to be in servitude to someone who COMMANDS your obedience to a false pretense of an institution instead of actually living your life the way you want to? A free-loving god would never want that, only a tyrant. In "Christianity" or whatever the fuck you believe make you feel guilty for emotions or sentiments you have literally no control over. You can say you believe in that crap b/c I just don't care about "religion" anymore.

  • There is just one small flaw that's itching at me. Say we arrived at such an economy, where machines freed a majority of the humans. Who would be around to give maintenance to these machines? Who would be there making even greater advancements? It doesn't seem to me that these people would be free, but instead slaves to making a dream society for everyone else while they get little in return.

  • Warning! Zeitgeist is Illuminati/NWO propaganda. 100%.

  • Can someone tell me the specifics of "how many solar panels" "how many windmills, how much material per windmill, what are the building costs", etc.?

Its saying "solar energy/wind energy can provide x amount of terrajoules, that's over 4,000 years..." I'm sure "wind energy can provide" in this case does not refer to one windmill.

It says "one charge" can power a car for so many miles...how much electricity is required for "one charge"?

  • WATCH THE ARRIVALS!!

  • This "Venus Project" looks very similar to the ideals that Seth Macfarlane proposed in Family Guy. "Behold, in a world without Christianity, science is enabled to maximum efficiency, people can give into sex outside of marriage without fear of STD's, and everyone can live without God. There's nothing to truly believe in" - Stewie Griffin HAHAHAHAHA! "I'd hate to be in your shoes when you find out that you're wrong." - Kevin Lee

  • Also, they're talking about becoming one with nature. About harvesting natural resources to create a better life-- however, they're also pushing technology forward, and urging the development of it. How technology will basically take over our jobs. Well, what happens when that technology is damaged, or wears out? How will we dispose of it properly? I also think this is like... being our own worst enemy all over again. "Playing God" is definitely a don't. We cannot create something from nothing.

  • Okay... the under water thing is neat. But I mean, what happens to all that under water life? And if you go to LA from NY, how much of the Earth's natural resources will have to be torn down in order to create such a thing? Isn't that being counter-productive?

  • Good point, this seems like a big promo for The Venus Project. At one point they'll say, you're losing your job from downsizing and machines, and then they'll say machines free up humans. There's a lot of good views about this video, but I'd be interested to see a smooth transition from where we are now to the ultimate society.

  • I like what they say about education though

  • vote ron paul

  • How safe are these maglev trains?

  • mag lift shit is cool. But tell me what happens when your perfect society has a psychopath . These people think we all have the same genes, when they realize they have to gene manipulate, who gets to play god there. Mag lift sounds sweet, lets build one and ill still drive my suburban to it to take a trip. Venus project=FUCKING BS, who gets to play god?

  • @TheDavebowman123 you'll find through much research that there are very few genetically predetermined mental illnesses.. Almost all of them are determined to some extent by the environment in which people grow up in. "Psychopaths" have troubled childhoods without love from loving parents and family. Let's not get into eugenics here with regards to gene manipulation.

    Zeitgeist Venus Project

  • If machines did 90% of human jobs then who would work the remaining 10%? Sounds like corruption to me.

  • It's so subtle!! CVS and groceries stores have replaced cashiers with self-checkouts!

  • The Venus Project

  • Really there is no way of living and working like living in a community, near nature, with a garden and orchard. I've done so. The best is a community where people are do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with God. Speaking of advertizing- fruits and necessities never need to be advertized. Only junk products and filth. Why not try simplicity, community and faith, my advice. Stop watching TV and movies and buying their crap. Turn to family and community and garden, what you can

  • @ancientroyal1 you lost me at Satan hahaha

  • We all wish this kind of world existed, and it would if Satan wasen't among us.Most people are good by nature,as long as people get what they need to live a comfortable, high quality life,we don't ask for more.We like to help eachother than kill eachother by nature, but the bible says that Satan and his angels will do everything they can to destroy gods creation out of hate.

  • @ancientroyal1

Satan also helped make this video. Don't be deceived!

  • The Venus Project is the Heaven on earth project in short.

  • This is anti-capatilist rheteric! Terrible!!! Terrible!!! Terrible!!! Progressives... die! George Carlin is an absolute socialist!!!!

  • @sourcingstrategies anti capitalism indeed as it should be. greed needs to die

  • This is anti-capatilist rheteric! Terrible!!! Terrible!!! Terrible!!! Progressives... die!

  • Venus project, rise of the machines lmao.........I dont think these people have learned anything from the terminator movies.

  • live to work/play, not work to live.

  • Quoting judge smails from the classic caddyshack " the world needs ditchdiggers too" there is no Utopia. You won't find it in a sweatlodge , heavens gate , or Guiana.

Bankers make money from interest on loans.

Would you rather dance around a fire wearing a bone through your nose?

  • @7sevo7 why not? whats wrong with tribal societies? I would live with one for a week

  • Once they kill us all off they will have this amazing techno world created by slaves for themselves.

  • @seige184 setting up an event costs money, any profit that would be made would go to the chapter in Calgary and used for promotion of other events

    Zeitgeist Venus Project

  • @Anonymousg64

You can't deceive me. The elite let this guy make this movie and this movement. They want people to join the zeitgeist movement.

  • @TheIsraelite7777 Well the concept has already deceived you into believing there actually is some ruling elite. They are a tendency, remove them and sooner or later others will have interest and power to fill these positions. What the zeitgeist movement advocates would make it impossible for a ruling elite to rule. they would lose all their power.

  • @Anonymousg64

They want to usher in the new age for the new world order. So everyone will accept Matrayai when he appears. I'm not stupid. And I'm not going to accept it.

  • @TheIsraelite7777 A new age for a new world order? Are you sure you know what u are talking about? You can classify an RBE as a new world order but not that of a ruling elite with an agenda to depopulate the earth and control the people.

and WTF, Matrayai? You are stupid, accept it.

  • @Anonymousg64

Don't deny something you haven't researched, it just make you look ignorant and childish.

  • Battery car? That sounds boring bro. And this dream train you speak of, will that go in the tunnel under the oceans in fantasyland.

  • @7sevo7 You missed the point TOTALLY. That's what exactly what they're saying in this movie. DUE TO MONETARY SYSTEM, this thing will never exist. The technology does exist. They're trying to explain that if we scrap the monetary based economy ( which will not happen in our lifetime ) then those things will become reality. Try to understand this from another angle.

  • @7sevo7 don't be ignorant. just a few decades ago the notion of space travel and landing on the moon was considered to be insane and impossible.

  • No work and all play makes Jack a happy boy.

    Count me in! :)

  • sooo....

IN THE MOVIE MATRIX that has numerous meanings, one is that machines are the problems humans finally encountered because they just replaced our lives and we in ignorance accepted them for being in full control of our daily purpose thus becoming their slaves BUT was this ideea made by the elite,"illuminati" so to speak, against the population by fighting this machine world and be ruled by them by our own greed and fictional money for theyr own interests power, control?

  • I've heard this over and over again. These people are delusional. The smarter your kids are the less valuable they and all smart people become because there's suddenly an oversupply of smart people...

  • @pdragonproductions I disagree because i think abundant smart people is a good thing.

did you hear the part about 4000 mph trains?

  • I've heard this over and over again. These people are delusional. The smarter your kids are the less valuable they and all smart people become because there's suddenly an oversupply of smart people...

  • @pdragonproductions You mean some people should be stupid and monotheistic. Now that's just the most Idiotic ideology I've ever heard smart people would never be less valuable, cause the art of learning never doesn't stop at school!!!

  • @paladinoftyr No, what I'm saying is, is that everyone is not "smart." We judge people by how "smart" they are and if they are not "smart" they are uselsess. There are plenty of "workers" and "doers" out there that make the world run. Everyone is not an intellectual, and when they are, nothing gets done because they all concensize that nothing is worth doing. Therefore, there must always be a working class, people who want to "do" and not philosophize about "doing."

  • god we are so stupid but so smart.

  • NOT TRUE...The metal work for those train rails, the monitoring system (displays, operator chairs, onboard food service, medical supplies on the trains, etc. etc.) will all require chemicals that require fossil fuel.

There's always a pessimist in the bunch. They would have convinced me until they started spewing this anarchist balogna!

  • ok well who is going to run these trains, and what about repairs and building it, how is this going to eliminate the monetary system nobody will work for free, so how does this fix the problem

  • @parliamentlights

All automated, if you help build it you get priority riding it. If you don't help build it then you have to wait in a long line; or build your own anyways. That solution took me about 30 seconds to come up with. What would happen if a large group of well educated people spent a few months coming up with solutions? Right now those people are flipping burgers; they could be doing something more productive but hey, no one will pay them to and they HAVE TO MAKE MONEY somehow.

  • ....what then if I want to hit something with a car?

  • So he's asking to replace human labor with artificially intelligent machines? Hmm... Seems like I know a few sci fi stories based on that idea. Terminator, Berserker, Dune... in all of these man becomes obsolete, the machines realize it, and serious problems result. (-;

  • @GloriousReturns I think you should not be so scared of machines.... IF it was not for technology, we would still be in caves.....

  • @MsBolz I'm not scared of machines! Right up until they figure out how useless I am...

    (-;

  • @GloriousReturns They got through your head.

  • @paladinoftyr Yeah. Sucks, huh?

  • @GloriousReturns Yeah really sucks for you, why don't you try to lay off the T.V. for a while if you listen to news don't go to news reporting crimes, sex, violence, and stupid people walking in the red carpet as if that's what's life is really meant to be!!! The times have shown the great fraud of the monetary system who isn't really necessary anymore to be there in the first place at a time of scarcity it worked fine, but now with technology putting an end to the scarcity it's time to change it!

  • @paladinoftyr Sigh. Look dude, I'm a firm believer that societal forces change history. If it is going to go the way you say, fine! I'm all the happier. But it does not make sense to get bent out of shape over it.

    Peace and love.

  • We may still have crimes based off of compulsion and passion. This political practice may remove crimes of profit. So this leads to one question what would we do about psychopathy, derangement, metal disabilities and deviation of the culture.

You may still need some police force to keep social enforcement so we can keep our social contracts with one another. We may have a lot lot lot less laws but we still need something to enforce social contracts such as not to murder. Nice idea however.

  • so basically, if all jobs will automated, what is there left for humans to do? Advance right? The only thing machines can't do is continue advanced thinking. So what happens to those people who don't want to participate in technology? What happens when my life passion is cooking, but technology does all the cooking. I don't want to do research on how to make better cooking technology, i want to cook. Do I get excommunicated from the system because there is no need for me?

  • @optikalefxx

First of all this has nothing to do with automating everything. It's about automating the means of production, There's a difference and second of all.

    Look around you.

Think about all the things you've ever wanted to do in life but couldn't and discover things that you just had no time for.

Everything in society is distorted by capitalist relations. We are so used to this life of scarcity that we are indoctrinated to believe all of this is healthy and natural.

  • @optikalefxx I THINK YOU COULD COOK YOUR HEART OUT.... YOU WOULD HAVE PLENTY OF TIME TO EXPLORE THINGS , INSTEAD OF CHASING MONEY.....

  • @optikalefxx Learning doesn't stop ever!!! so you have large potentials to be something else besides if cooking is your passion you could do it for your family, or for other people if that's really your passion? the point is you should take off the idea of needing to get paid to do something for others.

  • @651dxw : I have no idea what you are talking about. I don't take the money system for granted, there's nothing *I* can do about it. I know that it's broken, and I know that the class gap is too vast, but economics is ruled by mob mentality now. No one wants to give up their cash, and because they keep it, the system stays, it is that simple and stupid of a system. I understand this film, I don't know why you think I don't.

  • i guess they haven't seen the terminator movies.

  • I support the use of this technology for the Venus Project. Should this technology ever be used to try and salvage the monetary system I fear the consequences. For the sheer number of occupations eliminated by this technology will only quicken the imbalance of population vs. available occupations. The only way that technology and labor for income systems can co exist is depopulation.

  • And if anyone thinks depopulation is a good idea just think about the holocaust. If you still think it a good idea then you first.

  • @Limeisback2012 I dont think you understand the concept, you must be have many children to feed....

  • I don't have alot of kids to feed. I have no kids to feed. Im very pro Venus Project. Im just saying that We don't have to depopulate. We can maximize resources to levels that were once thought unfathomable. And if we can free technology from the clutches of a price tag our potential is unlimited.

  • why is this not mandatory viewing for the WORLD.. even if u a dictator u STILL benefit from this venus system .. i guess theyre afraid of uprising

  • The Ubermensch will someday walk on this planet.

  • The most important thing is the continoue of our specie. In our current system we are headed towards our doom.

  • Sadly, crimes aren't only monetary based.

  • Can you name me one person who would work tirelessly on improving a technology if he would not benefit financially??!! There would be no YouTube for this video to be on!

    Morons.

"Democracy is the worst system. Besides for all the others".

  • Your comment goes to shows that you need to improve your listening skills the social engineers said that instead of financial incentives ethical and moral incentives are gained.

  • @Musika113 : ethical and moral incentives do not feed you. For example: "I just build this __ grand device and it allows people to ___, and it is wonderful and delight, I'll give it away freely"...I will die in a week because I sacrificed my time creating this object and gained no reward to sustain and preserve myself. A system can be created monetarily without introducing greed (closed-system society).

  • Benjamin Franklin worked tirelessly to invent the lightning rod...and said it was too important to patent. Jonas Saulk worked tirelessly to invent a vaccine for polio, for which there is NO patent because he believed it was too important. Being poor and feeling that you truly matter to your community is much better than to be 'rich' and feel worthless. I've tried them both :)

  • there are more important things in life than money. there are lots of things people do, while not thinking about money, but on other things. Alot of people want to make a difference, some wan to be famous, some want to be remembered, som want to do something that creates an easier life for others.

and i agree. the patent law was the dumbest thing ever created.

  • Leonardo da vinci, the wright brothers, Martin Luther king wanted to get that pay check you know? That's why he went through all that war. Anytime you do anything for money you're gonna lose your creativity and your soul!

  • People like you is the reason we live in a shithole. Salut.

  • What the hell are you talking about?

Have you ever seen Los Angeles?

    Miami?

    Las Vegas?

    New York?

And every other beautiful man-made place in this country?

(Please disregard this message if you're from Pakistan or some other garbage country)

  • Why are people constantly debunking this because it doesn't offer a perfect solution? There is no perfect solution. There is only better than what we have now.

  • No wonder the elite have nothing but contempt for humanity and think of us as sheep...people even ridicule those trying to come up with solutions.

  • so in this society the scientists become the new ruling class

  • apparently no one is a ruling class in that proposed society.

  • why would we need a train that goes that fast? So these corperations can get their product from the sweatshops to market better?

  • @racebends i dont think so.. but lets say that it was true... would that be better or worse that the situation today?

  • who who believe in religion seem to get the worst end of God's shit storm.

  • @Imajinnin god? as in thor?

  • @Imajinnin

lol because in accepting society as it is the only comfort we can find is from God, goddamn don't you realize that religion is just another carrot being dangled in the face of the working classes so that they do not lose hope

  • The incentive part was stupid cuz hell if i get everything i want without paying for it i would sit on my butt all day and so will virtually if not 95+ percent of humans, i dont mind socilized education but everything else sounds like a soclist Utopia which will never exist.

  • planes r big pulloters?i have heard this but how much?actor boy al gore how much do you fly around clown...people trust this clown people go to denmark and stomp their feet 4 our goverments to spend billions on saving earth....peckerwoods

  • you said sex twice lol

  • This idea is good but....the only jobs that I can think for us are filmmaking, architecture (design), artists, singing, teaching, playing, having sex, comedy stand up, acting, writing, research, sex, and maintenance. These are probably just a few but I wanted to get this out there. Other than these jobs, the rest are gone.

  • This could work, if you eradicate human nature....

  • and human behaviour.

  • "Property is theft, therefore theft is property. Thus what I steal is mine."

A joke of course, based on what Zaphod Beeblebrox said when "borrowing" a space ship. But I bet some people reason like that.

  • GEEEZ!!!

I waited the whole movie to see the INCETIVE.

I am so disappointed. They spent, what like 3 seconds on that topic?

Perhaps because there is NO incentive! Who is going to maintain the machines? Little Machines? and who will maintain those machines?

Then, why the hell would I want to repair the little machine that fixes the machine fixing machines, while all the other FAT and LAZY humans R doing nothing?

They would have to FORCE people to do it. OOPS! there goes your FREEDOM! lol

  • good point.

  • to droppertrental

I was thinking exactly the same.. maybe when we have machines to do every single thing for us it woul work.. and even if small group of humans needs to maintain the machines its still better than enslaving the whole world. but who will have the power to choose the workers? after all we should all be equal.

  • The site talks about incentive in much detail and there is other vids and even online broadcast where a lot of questions are answered. Also giving real world examples that shows the idea has a basis for it. In our culture today where most people don't like their job, yes being fat and lazy will be an outcome. What you are not taking into account is the culture will be different. People doing what they actually enjoy. Why would you be lazy if you are doing what you choose to do?

  • not having to work doesn't mean people wont jsut lay around people enjoy activity and challenge, and when the challenge isn't how to make money and survive in this system, then it can be anything that interests you

  • this is why it is based off of the technologist. with this new incentive it would not be seen a forced action but rather the understanding that it is based around the stability of society itself. invention will only make things more efficient meaning that one day that problem would be solved without the means of a human. only because you live in this current society you are stating its ineficiencies instead of seeing that it is better then what we live in today

  • @droppertrental your talking about fixing machines!!! and making childish arguments when people are dying everywhere because of this system! besides the education system will be changed to the very highest standards, knowledge won't be limited to one specific focus of profession. Honestly i think in that time anyone would know how to fix machines! besides i think new professions will be popping up as technology advances like manning an exploration space vessel or something!

  • Try to change our system, the people at the top will not give it up. Today I read that over 100 universities in the U.S.; the presidents make over 1 million a year; a small speck at the overall problem.

  • Crime is not quantified, and never should be as a wholesome effect of some common phenomenon....Every crime has its separate effect and are independent of any other type of crime.....Crime is a mental construct, money may be a motivating agent......

  • So.....this video and the Venus Project is monomaniacal.....

The Venus Project can attain its objective by actually working for Global Environment protection program rather than run such a huge scale project to change human behavior and awareness.......

Because the time required for the Venus Project to succeed is so great that by that time, Earth would have already turned into Venus (Out of Environment degradation)

  • Rape, paedophilia, hit and run, murder out of hatred and obsession, etc. are not a direct or even an indirect derivative of monetary-ism.......

  • yeah those are the left over 0.00006%

  • Rape: Powerlessness... Power?

Paedophilia: Paired stimulas with children for sexual intercourse related to unequal power strctures and a lack of realisation by public strcturers towards the full scope of human sexuality. Requires research = Money!

Murder for hate. Hate = unequal power strcturers set up by a lack of...

Look at the why not their motive and you will easily find money as a causal ecology.

  • Try RAPE: = Lust, free time to think due to boredom, and no moral standard so it's ok.

    you're a douche bag buddy.

BULLIES? now they feel they need power, perhaps due to powerlessness.

Rapists are sick and discusting individuals and need to be locked away. and their sickNESS has nothing to do with money. In fact with out an occupation, they would only have more time to Rape and/or get excited about Rape.

Then how freindly would you're idealogical little world be?

  • Well I don't know about ideological worlds, but I think you should do some reading social psychology and maybe a bit of social and economic policy and see if it does not change your understanding about the human nervous system and incentive based economies and then call me a douche bag. If your just looking to express you anger at a stranger online without looking for real evidence as to the cause of social problems then please continue to throw insults

  • Im not throwing insults, i made a valid point.

Again: Bullies are insecure and they beat on people, same with small cops, and so-on. they have some insecurities due to past experiences.

Rapists however, have another issue that stems from much more than a struggle for control or power: how about LUST? or addiction to pornography just isn't cutting it any more. they want something more real?

You people try to dig so deep and skip right past the obvious. Your Eutopia is just a hightech CUBA.

  • There is not conclusive link between lust and rape. If you know anything about this subject, social psychology (lindesmith et. al. 2004, smith & mackie 2002) shows us that rape in a social sense and psychological sense is a physical manifestation of the need for power and control by both sexes.

Bullies, again use violence as a means of control over others generally out of the need to gain control of violence they cannot control in their own life. (see. Fletcher 2007, Gray, 2001 to begin with).

  • In addition, your acusation that my ideas are utopian stand no ground as you appear to assume that I have no institutional knowledge backing my statments only ideology. This perspective on my comments is unjust as I have demonstrated research here where is yours? what real source material do you have for your knowledge on these subjects?

  • i what to see a carpenter replaced by a machine..lol...not going to happen..sorry. love the idea of the idea of this world but its not without its falts

  • carpenters would not be replaced.....

humans who are interested in carpentry willbe able to learn all they want about it and have all the equipment they ever wanted to do it... then do it because they love it.....

    wouldnt u??

  • How is it that niceladyj and powerfulnun said completely opposite things yet both got equal thumbs up rating? I think that's kinda funny.

With regard to the video. I think the whole concept is fascinating. My concern is: if all we need is to effectively access the natural energy around to be rid of the monetary system, how will the means by which this energy will be harnessed be established? In a monetary system like we have, who will fund the project? How are these lofty goals to be initiated?

  • someone has to build the machines.. by the sweat of your brow.. someone has to grow the food

  • so?

  • There are two alternatives that come out of technology. 1) A society in which we are all controlled and monitored by the elite as it stands or 2) We have a new society in which technology is used for the good of all to free people! The monetary system as it stand is used to enslave people.

  • we'd still need a way to get things done, even with all this technology we need a way to organise people to build the solar arrays or the battery powered cars or whatever other fanciful projects they talked about here. fact is people wont just show up and work without incentive and "scarcity" is a bloody good incentive ie if you dont work you dont eat. sorry for being realistic, but just having the technology alone dosent do shit there needs to be a mechanism to reward endeavour and effort

  • I understand the realism, however, how do we know this? It's never been done before. Just to play devil's advocate, of course, there will still be hundreds of thousands of worthless, lazy people feeding off of the success of others, but do we not have that right now? So many people are undeserving of financial support and they get it anyway.

  • we are moveing in to the next age thank technology

  • so technology will magically get rid of all the bad people and no one will be motivated by profit? Damn you people are are divorced from reality!

  • he said laws could eventually become extinct, over time not right away.. Money really is the root of almost all evil.

  • TheInanimateObject,

Wrong. The LOVE of money is the root of all evil. The LOVE of money is avarice...greed. Money is simply a means of exchange. Simply eliminating money will not solve the problem because it is not the CAUSE of the problem. Until GREED is eliminated (and I don't know if it ever will be on a plane of polarization), there will always be those, few though they may be, who will try to take advantage of others. They will simply swap their medium of usury. It is WE who must change ...

  • your statement has no basis. Greed and competition both stem from scarcity whether direct or indirect and i have plenty of science to back this up with but let me address one other thing.. Competing to survive isn't needed with the current state of technology

  • TheInanimateObject,

No need to get combative. However, I must point out that when I said "wrong", I was referring to your misuse of a well known saying. The correct saying is "For the LOVE of money is the root of all evil." It is a direct quote from 1 Timothy 6:10 (KJV), and is a reference to avarice (greed/covetousness). There is no SCIENCE to back up the theory that money in and of itself is evil, only conjecture. Money is only a means of exchange for goods and/or services. Nothing evil there.

  • That combatant was faith based so its basis is in question. Nevertheless If people don't have to fight to survive, they won't fight. It is that simple. If you raise any mammal from the time it is conceived, in an environment where it has access to ALL of life's necessities without having to engage with another in competition over a scarce resource they will be at peace and no nothing of fighting.

  • Some of you on here are completely oblivious. Here's some advice: Do more research before you make your accusations, because you sound ignorant. YOU REALLY NEED TO WAKE UP! Stop being d*** heads and listen to what they're saying. Then do real research online. So instead of reacting, Think then act. They bring across very good points regardless if the whole freakin' 9/11 thing is true or not. Profits is what these ppl care about. WAKE UP!

  • so true. sadly enough, to most ppl, this isn't the case...

  • This movie makes a lot of assumptions and blind speculation about the motives of humans and the "motives" of modern society, and none more than this part which is just speculation on top of speculation.

I also don't quite understand how your "resource-based economy" is different from communism except that people do menial tasks only 1 hour a day.

  • What about crimes of passion or child laws? They aren't linked to a monetary system, how do we deal with that without at least some laws in place? I'm not saying people will inherently turn into animals i just think we should consider that some laws would be needed regardless of whatever system is in place.

  • The people who will want to create the technology are the people who understand that freedom, happiness, and the betterment of mankind ARE incentives!!! People will finally be able to do what they love! Skills will become a thing of beauty!

  • even thats slow. you can travel instenly. It called gravatational papulation. Its faster than light becuase it gets its enegry for gravity. Gravaity is insteant. Why do to the location when you can drag the location to you?

  • I prefer the 'voluntary simplicity' approach...the natural environment is more nourishing to our souls than a man-made hi-tech environment.

I would rather live in a village on a mountainside...herding goats...making beer...playing the fiddle...growing crops...than live in the Asimovian 'venus project'. Sounds like folks would end up practically useless, and totally vulnerable to systems failure. Oops no electric today. So we freeze. Rather chop firewood and listen to the birds.

  • the monetary system is a result of human charateristics.the modernization and globalization of the system ferments the problems of society and reinforces those negative ,selfish traits in us that created the ,or allowed the development of our currupt social institutions .Its a feedback system thats been reinforcing itself since the begining .However, that in no way means thats how we are because even though those selfish traits are now stone in our culture the desire of humans to reach a new

  • I disagree on airplanes, but ok on the rest...

  • Put simply, not for everyone is the doing of or producing something an end in itself. Nor can everyone be a scientist, engineer, architect, artist, etc.

  • And the idea of no need for monetary incentive is a fallicy- I seem to spend my time on the internet watching silly videos and having silly discussions- far worse than here of course! Now if I had a job...

  • WTF *intoxicologist* ???

"i am not convinced humans are capable of living together peacefully.

i believe we are genetically designed to be in competition for reward in the way darwin described for other animals."

    LOL

Do you live in a WAR ZONE? Dude, millions, if not billions of people live in peace.........even in this messed up world!

    FACT

And as for quoting Darwin? Pppplease!

Crime is created by lack of access to life's necessities and helps keep a Government in power, no?

  • Not all work is labour for someone else. And not all crime is based on money. Much crime is based on, say, anger? Hate? Even giving people a lot more than you imagine does not stop people biting off more than they can chew. There still need to be some laws and some means of enforcing them.

  • Which is realistic, but to say these things still exist in this system doesn't discredit the whole movement. Unfortunately these anomalies will continue to exist, but will be greatly diminished. This is no utopia, but on balance, it is much better.

  • this is an interesting video but it assumes that humans are ultimately good beings.

ultimately wholesome beings who are destined to do good but are dissuaded by an emotionless system.

i dont agree. i am not convinced humans are capable of living together peacefully.

i believe we are genetically designed to be in competition for reward in the way darwin described for other animals.

    sadly

  • then prove that we were meant to be competetive

don't try to compare humans with animals because that's getting old

  • there is a massive problem though.

technology only improves because people think they can earn more money than someone else by designing it.

why would someone study for seven years to be a doctor or study for 5 years to be an engineer to improve technology?

this video assumes technology is improved by itself. somebody has to do it. who is going to do it under this system?

  • This society can only be achieved by the revoltion of the workers and the Anarcho-Democratic Communist society.

  • I think this society can only come about through a massive reform in education which dispels the blind faith in our current monetary-based economy.

  • Geothermal currently requires fossil fuels to implement. To dig the wells, a diesel burning boring rig is needed to dig the wells, which are over 400 feet deep. These take quite a bit of energy to implement, but they are efficient.

As for the Mag-lev...4000mph? Prove it. For one, Mag-lev requires ELECTRO magnets, not just a normal magnet. And what about the infrastructure needed to run a Mag-lev through say...the ocean?!?! Seems like that would take quite a bit of energy as well...

  • i agree the monetary system we have is corrupt, but i dont see a solution to solving it, we may have these great ideas about what is best, but lets remember some one owns these lands and selling these resources, i dont think they will give them willing to help out human kind,. so time is fucking money.

  • come and try to take my land. damn right, there will be a revolution alright, but it wont be like these freaks want it to be.

  • HAHAHA wait.... is peecho86 serious?

  • who will serve drinks and dinner on the maglev?
