@ToniMattTony in a 12V since there isnt a computer you cant run a chip, but grinding the fuel plate, an exhaust, and turbo upgrades like a larger compressor housing are the cheapest ways to make a bit more power. just remember that in a 12V once you get the power you cant just turn it off, so you want to keep it drivable

Most of the specs are in the description. Have not changed anything on the motor, it's basically stock, except for programming and bolt-ons.
Numbers 5 and 6 are somewhat notorious. There are mods for adding extra coolant flow to the rear of the block to prevent overheating of the number 6 cylinder. Unless you do a lot of seriously heavy towing, or a lot of racing, this mod would not be worth the cost of installation. You could do it yourself but, fair warning, but it's a bitch.
@Swrtzjstn12 Just because the 6.7L has more stock HP & Tq does not make it "better". Too many "emissions" control devices etc make them way less fuel efficient and add more labor cost to repairs. We have had several in for repair work. The 5.9 on the other hand... only come in for performance mods. Not because the need them... but because they are more fun modded. :)
@dilvidor weve had plenty of 24 valve 5.9s come in for repair 4 complete motor rebuilds in 2 months all due to the pistons melting all stock non modded trucks i personaly think the old 12 valve was a better engine than the 24
@Swrtzjstn12 for mods the 5.9 is better. if you are going to leave it totally stock a 6.7 is fine but they are more pricey to repair. personally, i love the 5.9.

As for your bike, pound for pound it is slow. Sure it is faster head to head, but comparatively you should be running a one second quarter to be almost as fast. So I don't understand your point. Maybe everyone should only race at Bonneville Salt Flats in jet cars because they are they fastest.

I just saw an '06 that sounded & looked totally stock except for a set of ladder bars underneath make 1,000.83 HP, & pegged the dyno at 1500+ Tq, (& hardly any smoke either!), this weekend at the NPD gathering. My truck didn't do as good as last year with the Edge box stuck on #4.

Nice! A loose turbo? I just saw an '06 that sounded & looked totally stock except for a set of ladder bars underneath make 1,000.83 HP, & pegged the dyno at 1500+ Tq, (& hardly any smoke either!), this weekend at the NPD gathering. My truck didn't do as good as last year with the Edge box stuck on #4.
